  1. 200 mile loop today, lunch at St. Pamphille, sunny start and cloudy finish, somewhat cold. Trails were all tens except for drifting in a couple fields. The mountains across the St. Lawrence were beautiful with the sun shining on them. Very low traffic on trails. Typical of this area, I passed 6 club houses today and missed another while taking a shortcut. Briefly met up with Andyman and Steve and their group at the hotel. And speaking of the Hotel Universal, they added a few floors over the Spa, outside is done, they are still doing inside work. Can't remember the number of rooms being added, but it is substantial. Few pics today, including one that despite all of Quebec being under clouds this afternoon, the sun always shines on RDL. mike

  3. I am not sure it was actually called this but was often referred to as Relais Chic Chocs. I hope the new management Can draw sledders in, the last one certainly drove a lot away.

This guy is going to have several new friends if he is right about this weekend’s storm being less ice and more snow as he is predicting on Facebook.

  17. Yesterday we went to Auberge Eva for lunch. All but 20 miles, of the 85 to Eva, were fresh groomed and were first tracks, with 3 inches of fresh powder on top. Couldn't ask for any better conditions. Above freezing temps and rain/snow for Thursday and Friday.

  18. Yes we usually do ride with Ed W and 603 Back country. Also, we had a very nice ride today from Levis to the Maine border below Armstrong. We took 75 all the way and it was near perfect. It always amazes me what they can do with a snow storm. We ran some similar areas earlier in the week and they were worn down very thin in places. Riding in The Chaudierres is looking really good
