Gearing up for another season! Just wondering if anyone can give a little insight into this area? Thinking of an earlier trip to this area and was wondering about typical conditions....obviously I'm not expecting anyone to predict the weather (haha), but for those of you familiar with the area from here up to St. Donat, when can you typically expect snow and open trails? Are there some good day rides to do with the wives? I am also looking at house rentals in the broader region for this or other trips. Anyone have luck with using airbnb or vrbo for snowmobiling? I appreciate the input! Goose

FYI for those interested...there have been almost 2,000 registered users since day 1. Over the last year there have been about 400 active members. During the peak season, there are up to 125 active members in a day, with 85 members active on a typical winter day.

That waterfall is a neat spot. We found that about 10 years ago. First time in we broke about 2 feet of fresh powder. A challenge to say the least.

That sounds like a lot of fun Ray. Do you follow Matt Guthmilleron on YouTube? He is the kid that flew around the world. He did a video of flying in to the small airport in NH that was in my neighborhood growing up. As a kid I used to go to the ice races on the pond next to the airport.

Got a text from my A & P mechanic that he was repairing the Life Flight helicopter at Warren Hospital which is 5 minutes from my office. He also mentioned that he was hungry. If you come to P'burg you gotta try one of the three legends Toby's hot dogs, Joe's steak sandwiches or Nicolosi Pizza. He got Nicolosi Pizza. Him & the crew really liked the pizza!

We are busy this fall combining 1,200 AC of beans then another 600 AC of corn here in Ontario. Need until about Nov. 20 to complete harvest, then pray for snow. Already getting our Quebec trips planned for this winter. Cote Nord will be our big trip this year. Will make another one or two shorter trips to locations TBD.
