I want to start by saying my hats off to all the members that post pictures and do write ups every night during their Quebec snowmobile adventures. Some like Snowmaster2112 and others updating us a couple times through their day. I have been very lazy this year, never posted a picture or write up and been on five trips to Quebec this winter. My first trip was December 17 and last trip ended March 22, the last official day due to Covid. Pictures are going to be fewer and further between now except for Groomer who thankfully never stops sharing pictures. So I thought to make up for my laziness all winter I would share a few of my pictures this winter. Hopefully some of these remind you of some p!aces you have traveled or places you have plans to ride.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm always amazed how many things seem to burst into flames when the season ends. Guess it's just a coincidence

On my sled "green" means I have beer. If it's solid orange i'm running very low. If it's flashing orange I'm out and need you to stop if you have any.

3200 miles for me on 2 trips to QC. Never got to do the end of March run which is usually my favorite. March riding is the best!

More smoke coming off that machine then Groomers machine the night it woofed its cookies! LOL Hopefully the operator got out safely. On the positive side, Matane will have a new machine next winter.

You can see where a sled has gone around it.Diesel is hard to light, must be an electrical issue, not that it matters anymore.

Was definitely a feeder trail they use to go up to ride in mountains somewhere. Just like Fozzy said. I think they knew (hopefully) they were the only ones in the area using that trail. Hence the side by side action. But was too icy for their paddles and they lost it.

bonjour paddy o !!! great thx for the concern...but i think it ll take a miracle to come back .... keep in mind , im grooming same trails since the last 20 years....getting older....getting tougher to spend 10-12 hrs in a row in the cab...and tougher to come back to life the next day ....but stubborn enough to do it.... but like i said before ,all good things must have an end...i never liked both sides of ste marguerite......since the windmills...where the trail is next to the road for the windmills.....way too narrow...trail come rough very fast ....very discouraging ...for me and sledders...too many '' quebec words '' there while grooming in the last few seasons .... if one day i come back ....i ll groom only local trails....only !!! and honestly ....im going to miss taking grooming pics !!! great day for riding !!! jean-guy

I have not been on in a few days, but when this one-liner - teaser appeared in my inbox, it piqued my interest enough to sign on & scroll up & down to see what warranted the post. Regretfully I came across Groomer's response where Groomer replied in sum & substance he was too stubborn. Wishing the powers to be at the club will make some sacrifices in the future & entertain Groomer's concerns & if so, maybe Groomer will give careful thought to the offer, if any, to return. In the interim, I am delighted to read Groomer is enjoying life. Going forward, best to each of you during these trying times. Stay safe all. Paddy O
