  1. Hyner Mountain area ride yesterday. Riding in Pa on the 19th of December with 20-30 inches in some areas is freaking unheard of!!!. While it was a great day and to be riding in my home state, this snowmobile season is going to suck with unusual weather patterns, covid restrictions and all the covid testing I have to get done before and after traveling with all my trips I have planned out of state.

  4. Nice to see PA getting some white gold riding in. Been a tough several years. I'm sure my sticker is current but its not even on my sled. No idea where it is. My 1st real organized trail riding trip was ANF trail 1. Great memories. We didn't even have helmets! I don't even remember the little town's name (KANE) but we made it to Westline and over east to Coudersport. I was riding a beat up '82 Enticer. Saw a lot of "Team Belly Pan" on that trip.

  14. I'm not gonna read all the posts I'm just gonna slap and move on. Reality (free market enterprise) killed the electric car. Now that reality has been suspended, untold numbers of people are willing to tail off one environmental impact for a MUCH worse one - mostly electric infrastructure. Renewables (absent cold fusion) will never surpass fossil fuels. There is more than enough fossil fuel to burn clean enough to least us until at least the next 2 extinction events. All electric or even hydrogen power will double greenhouse gas emissions and come along with the environment impacts of mining and disposing of the additional heavy metals needed. The world should be looking at tech to make using fossil fuels cleaner and increase efficiency and be building nuclear. Otherwise only look to California to see what the future will hold with electric rationing due to idiotic renewable %s mandates. Common sense always takes too long to prevail after upheaval. The next asteroid will take care of the rest (maybe a CME or EMP). Would make for a Dark Winter.

  21. Ever hear a politician stand up and say I am going to unleash business and build a robust economy where anyone who wants a job can find one and work each day to support their family and chart their own course....that is where we just were....and now we have a new administration coming ...to fix that great economy where more people found that job than any time in the past 50 years....by offering free everything and debt relief...I don't get it...but I do know one thing.....HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!

  26. I gonna say I absolutely love my Sidewinder as I did and do my Apex and Attak that I still own. The Winder is a sexy beast, a rocket, but there is no denying she is heavy and I may be getting a Riot or a Backcountry. And yes, sense is anything but common these days.

This should be an easy one for many, this club house used to be one of the more modern designed club houses on the circuit. It burned down, they rebuilt it again and than I they closed it , sold it to a private owner, when some of the area clubs merged?

  35. The trails are decent, there’s one big loop around the kinzu Dam, on occasion they get some big lake effect dumping, lots of traffic, minimal grooming.

  41. Bald eagle state forest, RB Winter state park and Mile run, It all is connected. I don’t know how it is in the Allegheny national Forest where Marienville is located I don’t think they have as much snow but I’m not positive. The Potter County area not far from there is listed as excellent condition according to the website

  47. I think the batteries need to make one more big jump. If they can get down to 80% charges in 15 min on a fast charger and a range of 200 km on an 80% charge in normal trail riding conditions while not being stupid heavy this can work. The infrastructure will follow. There's more of a charging network built already than most think. Yes not in every remote location and tiny village, but most towns have one or more options right now. If the cars are converted the demand will create a situation where folks will build the infrastructure. Look at what it costs to install a set of gas pumps. You can build some pretty fancy electric chargers for similar or less coin. You avoid ongoing trucking costs we have with fuel and the cost for energy is actually cheaper. Especially in Quebec where the hydro rates are low.
