In Eagle Lake woke up to 6” of new Snow Tuesday very windy but Trails were groomed to Perfection!!!

yesterday was a bit of a challenge with hard frozen trails in the morning. the groomers did not go out until about noon. then we headed what ever way they went lol. wind was crazy yesterday had to get my hand saw out several times to get back in. ended up with 193 miles for our efforts.

I just about spit my coffee out!

Yep-I've got bolt cutters that easily cut thru 3/8" rebar-1/2" is a bit tougher!

Locks are for honest people. Have you ever seen a pair of bolt cutters in action? I lost a key a few weeks ago. I scared myself how easily the lock cut. It was like a hot knife going through butter. Much quicker and considerably quieter than a grinder/ hacksaw

Great. Let them think that. Less traffic on the trails for us. I mean it sucks yes. After 2 or 3 seasons I would let them take my sled. Dump the high mileage sled get the insurance and buy a new one. Voila... back in St. Donut the next week driving a new XRS looking to cruise across Lac Archambault.

I had forgotten about the Sawmill being closed. That said, if your riders have extra fuel it is not that far 160miles. Even a washer fluid jug full of gas that is dumped in 30 miles out would get you through. It is supposed to be an adventure!!
