  1. The farmers, the ZEC’s they all want a piece of the pie. Can’t have a trail system without their land, but I don’t know what the long-term solution is.

Says delivery for winter 2025. Hmmm seems fast but we shall see. all depends where this bridge gets built. I had heard that it would join with TQ93 near La Dore. I heard this plan a few years ago.

  8. Establish a permanent trail network. Yes, is easier said then done. But is the only real long term solution. Every journey starts with a single step.

  9. The solution can be as simple as, the government that is getting a huge economic benefit from the snowmobile business offer the effected private landowners a break in property taxes they pay. As for the Zec I believe they are crown land with private management rights, tell them to pound sand.

    The Challenge

Assembled and Aired up at maximum height. http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2024_04/rr-rear-mount-14.thumb.JPG.36d8be65523eb0bf01f05e560044e270.JPG And all the way down.... http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2024_04/rr-rear-mount-13.thumb.JPG.ccd0b215a78fba488dc39f1c1fa5e398.JPG Little bit of travel! It goes a little further if you stand on it. Then because of the altered angle caused by the rear Drop Brackets, I needed to add some kind of wheel. I found these bearings with a larger\thicker inside race allowing it to be a spacer and a wheel. They wont spin or be touched all the time only in particular situations. I did a less than elegant repair, leading me to conclude a chassis renovation is in the future. http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2024_04/rr-Chassis-Repair-1.thumb.JPG.19ddf6e6242988e4e0caa638e4de46ce.JPGhttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2024_04/rr-rear-mount-12.thumb.JPG.86b9a59289f83739552ab476a3b2cb1e.JPG On to the Front and the Engine..... PAGE 3 - Since 2016, the Parc régional des Grandes-Rivières du lac Saint-Jean has set up a unique off-road tourist circuit in Quebec: La Passerelle du 49%. The 236 km route is located in the public forest north of Lac Saint-Jean and required the construction of nine footbridges and the development of several kilometers of trails, some of which were existing forest roads. The circuit is accredited within the national quad (FQCQ) and snowmobile (FCMQ) federations and includes numerous accommodation, catering and refueling services. Local quad and snowmobile clubs are essential partners ; - Integrating the territories of the MRCs of Domaine-du-Roy, Maria-Chapdelaine, Fjord-du-Saguenay and the Nord-du-Québec region, the footbridge over the Ashuapmushuan River opens up a territory several hundred kilometers long. 18. Yep. We use nothing but cordless on our commercial construction sites. Battery technology needs to improve again for transportation to be feasable. So does the charging network. That will be the biggest hurdle in remote areas.

  19. There will be a day that they will make sense, however technology has to improve....and it will. Remember when the first battery hand drills came out, look at them now. Who amongst us doesn't have a few Dewalt or Milwaukee tools?
