Groomer, We are in Matane at the moment,Does your brother own the skidoo dealer in Amqui? If so thank him for having a short block in stock for my Mach Z, blew the motor on Thur on the 597 about 10 miles from Chandler. They sent it up on a bus, was done by 6pm the next day! Thank god for warranty, on are way back to RDL. The trails have been mint the whole way, especially your part of TQ5.

Hi Groomer, We are thinking about coming up to RDL on Tues. the 17th, droping the trucks off and taking off in the afternoon to Rimouski for the night. Then heading around the peninsula counter clockwise cutting across through Murdochville then back on 5 towards RDL. Have you heard of any clubs packing it in yet? We would probably pass your area on Wed. Any info would be great. Hope to run into you along the way.

The casino was great except you can't have a drink and gamble at the same time! They have a bar in there but you can't take it out on the gaming floor, kinda takes the fun out of playing. I did win $120 bucks though at roulette. We stayed at the Fairmont next to the casino, what a place.

Hi groomer, If you really want to feel your arms pump try burying an Apex in deep snow, that one has a 136" track. That was the gaspe last year Easter weekend!Hope to run into you in Mid march if the weather holds!

That's what I was told at Lac Edouard the pipline was groomed Fri night and North of lac edouard on Wed. the 25th. I'm glad you liked Richard's place Gizz, he's a great guy and will help you out in any way he can.

83 to 355, 355 to lac edourd was a little rough, hadn't been groomed since Wed. lac edourd to Mekinack was a highway! Great to meet you Clark, hopefully we'll ride again sometime!

We may be there for one night the 25th or 26th depending on our route.

Great report Andyman, it was great meeting you guys, I wish we got to 100 lacs earlier, but we tried, that reroute by Clova screwed us up and running out of ful didn't help.

We always leave from Auberge Mekinak on the river at the bottom of the pipeline, secure parking, breakdown service like Bernards, nice rooms rest. and bar. Richards his name and speaks great english, he used to be good friends with bernard. His # is 819-646-5735. Also has big screen tv and a pool table with fireplace. It's right on 155 about 20 minutes North of Shawinigan.

Anyone know the aproximate mileage from 100 lacs to the Esteral?

I just talked to Wanda at Esteral, she said there was no charge to leave the trucks there, I find that hard to beleive with the amount of security. We are thinking of leaving them there for our 5 day trip towards abitibi and then try to make it to the winter gathering at 100 Lacs.

How are they with leaving your trucks there and saddlebagging?

Me and a few of my buddies will more than likely be in that area that week, we''ll try to end up there Wed. evening.

Although one mirror is required, I think it's rarely enforced, I've been riding up there for 4 years now and have been through a dozen check points and it was never questiond. Although I have gotten a speeding ticket clocked on radar.

Did you change the skis on yours, I just picked up a pair of Pilot 5.7's for my buddys 06' Attak, Hopefully now it will actually turn, LOL Other than his hands always cold he likes it!
