  1. I carry a small compass and a few of those warmers that fit in the sole of your boots that last for 4 hours. Schooter forgot to mention he also carries the kitchen sink.
  2. there is also the quebec inn then taxi to old city.
  3. In PA it is sometimes difficult to not be frustrated with "sharing the road" with bikers. I'm sure it is a small number of individuals but there are some who ride side by side or in the middle of the lane when you approach from behind. As a vehicle driver, as I understand it, you have to provide the biker 4' of clearence when passing. Having to do that on a trail would sometimes be difficult/impossible to say the least. Scares me to think about all the types of unsage situations you could encounter if fat bikes and sleds are mixed on the same trails. Plus, I would hate to see the rooms upstairs at the Hotel Central Parent booked full of fat tire bikers when we pull in at 8:30p. That would really honk me off!
  4. I like your thinking. As far as the weight issue, what else can you do? For me, I couldn't afford to loose the saddle bag space (until that one time I do run out of fuel then maybe I would re-think). My answer was a long track with a rack on the back. I found two fuel cans that fit side by side in the rack. Gives me 4+ gal. capasity. I have yet to have any wheelie issues.
  5. Here, here... I was the lucky winner at the Syracuse show this year and my new suit showed up yesterday. I want to thank our sponsor, Choko and Quebec City & area, Charlevoix, Saguenay - Lac Saint Jean / The Snowmobile Destination! I also want to say thanks to Bill, he made sure we signed up!! Kiki
  6. fastech382, Welcome and good luck. I also had a formula (much smaller) in a prior life before a relocation took me away from water. Wish i had that boat back. A long track Cat two stroke is a fine substitute! KiKI
  7. Thanks to Bill, 182 Ray and Bridgebuilder (Schooter was there in spirt) the meeting went well. Good food and drink, great company and a bunch of decent stories does a load of good after 7 months of no snow. We are getting close though, first frost of the season this morning! Looking forward to the PA Powersprots Show tomorrow. kiki
