Iceman thanks for the awesome reports......We were wanting to arrive in Saint Donat Friday night and leave from there Saturday morning take 33 to 63 east to Saint Michel and the next day leave again from Saint Donat take 33 to 63 west to wards Lac Nominingue. Is this doable with good trails or should i stick with what you suggested? thanks

I went for a ride on Tuesday. I started in Arnprior and went to Pembroke for lunch. The trails were ok for the amount of snow we have. I'm sure they got beat up pretty bad though after this weekend.

Is anyone going to be at Saint Donat friday night the 6th. Me and the wife are riding from Ontario to Saint Donat staying there for the night then riding back to Ontario crossing at rigaud. staying at Auberg La Cuillere a Pot.

Leaving from Berthierville que Days Inn at 9am Thursday january 29. Riding to Saint michel des saints for lunch. Then going to Saint Donat. Staying at Auberge La Cuillere a pot. Next morning leave around 9am and ride back to Berthierville Days Inn Taking a different route. about 300km each day. It will only be me and my wife. We each ride 1200s.

I would like to join in with someone that will be going for a ride on any of these days or for all of these days. January wed 28, thurs 29, and fri 30. Good for any amount of miles per day. I will be traveling from cornwall so could meet some place in quebec. Say as far east as Shawinigan. Or someone can hook up with me and my wife. We both ride 1200s and you wont have to wait for us. chris

They allow you to leave your vehicle and trailer there even if you don't get a room?

thanks i will keep in touch. Sounds like a nice ride. I have to check with my riding partner. We have a trip planned but were thinking about trying something different. The trip we have planned and that we usually do every year is..... start at St Raymond from BRP dealer, Leave around 11am ride to La Tuque 183 km, next day ride to Roberval 265km, next day ride to the fairmont in La Malbaie 335km, For a little relaxation and gambling. Maybe stay there for an extra day and short ride there. next ride back to start, St Raymond, 250km

When you folks plan a trip on Via Explora what do you set your speed at? I'm looking for an average. How long does it take you to travel every 200 km driving at fast enough pace stopping for gas and food. With the scale set at 50km it looks like every 100km would take 2hrs. This seems long or is that right?How long would it take you to get to roberval leaving from La Tuque?
