Here on the Kanawata express FYI….i was on the wrong side of the trail (safe straightaway) so I could capture Jeffrey in a video coming by. And that he did….at about 90 turned out sweet

Arrived back at camp a little before 5 another Awesome day and I can report the roadside from 345/83 jct into Wemo is 10 times better than when we hit it on Monday. Here at the junction

An awesome report and sounds like an incredible time. GREAT pics as well. May your friend be riding nothing but groomed trail forever. It had to be very heartfelt and sobering spreading his ashes. My friends/family will be doing the same with me up here someday.

At Windigo enjoying the finer things in life. 240 miles/smiles today trails were mint the section of 83 east of Rivière Trenche is MUCH improved since the other day. All good !!!!!

Waking up at Le Montagnais in Chicoutimi this a.m. boy it was some kind of fun getting the machines in here last night we rode around the lake yesterday and it was quite an experience. Would go on conditions ranging from 8.5-9 and back to 2-2.5 in a blink of an eye and just constantly kept changing all day. And it wasn’t t just woods were good and fields bad as some fields were mint and others long patches of snirt. In any event it was a good day. Like most places they NEED a more snow. It was nice waking up to this awhile ago. We are heading off to Windigo for the night and will update conditions at the 22

A couple pics from Rivière Trenche stop yesterday

Saw lynx 3 times already. They do well when the rabbit population is doing well. Each time I saw them they were just sitting on the trail and staring into the woods. Have read that they have phenomenal hearing and I’m sure they are just sitting there listening to whatever sounds rabbits make. Here , Mon ami Jeff, Andre and my buddy Max at the Gilardo dam a couple days ago. Max is a big hunter/fisher/trapper and snared this rabbit that morning

Just enough to aggravate the piss out of you. Some brief sections with no snirt/potato’s but overall just dog shit the whole way i will say they have a good flat shoulder and with more snow it would help tremendously

I remember that reroute back some years ago. If memory serves me it was good trail but had bamboo BAD sticking up everywhere maybe it’s better now

I see a dozer of some kind in the background. That and the workers there could have yanked it out if someone got stuck LOL
