  1. Had a little roadside celebration about 4 miles north of Repos on the side of the road thats her first “15” im taking her another 15 FOR SURE
  2. And BTW…..I saw those “chicken sandwich “ thingies go by to other tables on a plate with pale looking fries they looked like those little frozen patties you throw in the microwave for 60 seconds because your wife isn’t getting home till late.
  3. I just had the 6 dollar fries….. they were o.k. I guess would have liked them cooked another 60-90 seconds
  4. And this is what you get for a 6 buck hotdog cold, barely microwaved……
  5. Fabulous day. Funny shit # 1 an axle just laying in the road about 3 miles east of the Gilardo dam laying in the road all by itself
  6. Waking up at Lac Chapeau de Paille this a.m. to still warm temps and a dusting of snow overnight We are pleasantly surprised for some reason the internet is working here. Mon ami Andre bought this antenna booster thing 4-5 years ago and we could get texts (no pics) and even a voice conversation out sometimes. That is when it worked. Sometimes it would stop for a day or two at a time. Now all of a sudden we are getting full blown data through. Still a little spotty but as you can see I’m getting stuff out. My theory is with all the logging going on up here the last couple years the logging company brought in a portable site and did what they needed to do so their workers have communication in the bush. Andre thinks that’s not it. I guess we’ll know whenever they pull out of this area it suddenly stops one day. In any event…..it’s the best thing since sliced bread. We are heading over to the Giraldo dam from here at 10:00 to meet an old friend and his dad. From there we are thinking about heading up to Kanawata for lunch and back down to Lac Chapeau for another night before heading on our trip north and east for the week.
  7. How many times/ hours have you spent at this intersection over the last 2.5 decades junior ?
  8. This is how we got into the camp since the M20 & M21 closure the last two seasons
  9. Here today leaving Mattawin at 2 pm
  10. Snapped this pic while driving up today two roached out Tesla’s bombing down the road
  11. This does NOT signify what we rode today as it was only a couple miles before the 345/M20 and it wasn’t as bad as it looks. For folks who don’t know……. This is my favorite spot in all of Quebec. The 345/M20. I have spent so many hours/breaks/fun times here over the years with so many different friends and new people I can’t even remember it all. When I die my friends and family are coming here to celebrate my life and snowmobiling. It’s the place I picked long ago as my best and fondest of times in Quebec with dear friends and times. a little sad to see it like this today but I know it’s only temporary. Also the view up the M20 is jaw dropping compared to what we are all used to.
  12. Hala fucking Lou-ya it worked
  13. If this works it’s my FIRST ever internet access out of Lac Chapeau-de-Paille . THANK You GOD !! here on the 345 today about 3 miles west of the 345/M20 junction about 4 pm it was a kitty sno pro something that had some pink parts left awesome 81 miles from Matawin into camp
  14. Yeah and those sections sucked ass too !!! I remember us having to turn around on several of those sections because you couldnt get the sled safely over the pile of shit that the plow guy pushed over to the side of the road. Finally got so pissed we just ran the road.

  16. Wes are you talking about from the 13 south junction outside of town towards Clova ? has been shit in recent years until you get 10-15 miles out. They should build a new trail if they are going to continously plow that road. Wait till someone gets creamed by a logging truck and see what happens with Intact Insurance. Will make the Rouyn-Noranda incident seem like nothing. Hope your having a BLAST regardless !!!!!!
  17. If this is all from this year we’re in trouble
  18. The “ballet’s” have disappeared all over QC in recent years. I blame it on the liberals but the drugs and crime that permeated all of them finally pissed too many people off. Glad I had my fun times when I did.
  19. been fortunate enough to have spent a gazillion miles on the M20 & 21 over the years. Was easy to do when one of your best buddies is a Quebec'r and has a camp on Lac Chapeau-de-Paille Will be there Saturday night
  20. I still prefer the old fashioned, original “Elmers” in a bottle. Leaves a nice aftertaste running down the sinus tubes
