snowmaster2112 got a reaction from Pipeman in who will win the chicken dinner on this one ??
That pic must have had a weird angle to make it look like that or they didn’t remove the clamp in the suspension yet
it was normal when I picked it up and yes the suspension bolts are in and torqued

Not quite as shabby as leaving a critical bolt not tightly fastened that could end up with serious injury or death

looking and thinking about this more I gotta call bullshit on this blackjack1 and someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Just because it will fit either way dosnt mean its right. Two things are obvious. The small warning sticker on the shock is upside down and more importantly you dont have the two surfaces where the piston arm goes into the shock body and the crimp around the two part shock body facing up where water and snirt can lay and collect on whatever seals are there. I'd bet my lunch money that BRP would say absolutely only one way it goes on.
Besides the up/down issue I found this last night and just about shit my bibs. It's extremely unnerving that a dealership would let something like this out the door. Imagine the bolt coming out and the shock dropping and suck you right into the woods or worse.

Really?
how come every single picture I see new or used they are the other way? Every Skidoo I have ever had they were the other way too and I think I’m on 12 or 13 now.

So I go on a road trip this past Saturday to Pa. to pick up a new sled . F*ck it life is short.
23 left over Enduro 900R which I got an absolute screaming deal on. Was not at dealers long as I warned them ahead of time I would not want to be hanging around nor needed any kind of dog/pony show about the snowmobile. As it turned out I was there almost an hour as the place was mobbed at 1:30 pm.
Fast forward to 7 pm back at my house and celebrating the new arrival and notice the back bogey wheel caps are missing. Thinking to myself...."cant believe i didnt notice that before I feft the dealer". Then I notice one Pilot TX carbide is all the way down and one was all the way up. I chuckled to myself...."that would be an interesting ride" as I walked back to the house to get another beer.
Now for the last 4 days I have had the sled on my nice little open place single wide trailer sitting right inside the garage near our door that goes into the house. Yes, i have spent countless hours since drooling and dreaming. At 4 a.m. this morning it finally hit me.... now to be fair I DID NOTICE THIS the first night home but thought BRP made a change and surely it must be better... right ??
This morning i'm still in utter disbelief. Below is a picture of the sled at the dealership shop they sent me the day before I went down to pick it up. To make things more ironic the machine has been sitting in their showroom for a year and not one customer or employee noticed.
I wont name the dealership out of respect......BWAH...........
What is majorly wrong with this sled ????

snowmaster2112 got a reaction from MrGutz in 24 season
LOL….to be fair I had (for the first time ever and even not now) the entire winter off that year.
just seems harder and harder as you get older and fighting the weather and the economy to get seasons in like we used to.
I hope to make it to full retirement someday and have enough Ching left to ride at least half the winter days. I’ll be able to beat Mother Nature then LOL
my buddy sent me some pics today from some French Facebook I think page. Outside of Parent/Clova somewhere
