smclelan We where lucky it happened right when we where pulling out of driveway 😒that was 2 winters back this winter we had 2 new sleds trailer all fixed all set to go and the week we where going they had rain in forecast so we had too cancel. will have 2 brand new sleds next year with 0 miles on them 🤬 lets hope for a better winter next year Zrtkat

Worst season for quite a while Brand new sled with 0 miles 🤬will be brand new next winter . Brand new Catalyst wanted to try out this winter . Let's hope for a comeback of winter next season.

They have no rooms available the day we are leaving she said a construction crew rented all the rooms . I would like to leave my truck and trailer up on the hill never had a problem there

Mark this reminds me of last year when we where both leaving Temiscaming at the same time until we had trailer problems. I wonder if Temrose will let me leave my truck there if we book a room at the end of trip. Will be watching for updates on trails from Temiscaming it showed limited this morning to Val-Dor they where showing closed yesterday hoping we can get to go this year I have a brand new sled to break in . We have Reservations at the Forestal for Monday the 26th if we have to drive up there but would rather be riding sleds to get there. Hoping you guys have a great trip keep me updated.

Hopefully someone will give us a trail report we where leaving next monday from Temiscaming but cancelled due to trail conditions hopefully will get some new snow in Area rescheduled our trip for the the following Monday but could not gat a room at Temrose they where booked solid. So we do not know where we could park our truck trailer at so might have to drive to Valdor to start but hoping we would not have to.

Good to know always worried about going to new places. The lady on the phone was very helpful.😊

We decided on a place and got reservations at Pourvoirie des 100 Lacs Sud on the 20th of Febraury so Thanks to all that replied and quided us through that area. Zrtkat &Crew

Can't find a place in Parent for Tuesday night she said it is full. So we don't have many options. My next question is can we make Val-Dor to windigo I know it's 611 km they have rooms available. Any other options for us . The place she said they where full was ombre-du vent Any advice would be appreciated Thanks Greg

Signfan thanks for the info looked like a big day for sure just trying to mix it up from previous trips do things a little different last year we didnt get to go because of trailer problems .So this year got new axles on trailer ,New Sled,all we need is snow by mid February and we will be good to go. my trailer is a 2016 lightning trailer those axles are paper thin it cost me $1200 to replace both axles ,electric brakes all brand new under there only thing that they used where the springs.

revrnd We never made it to Quebec last winter we had all our reservations,trail permits, we left I pulled out of my driveway looked in my mirror and my tire was leaning out on trailer further investigating found my trailer axle broke. So I replaced both axles on trailer , electric brakes all set for this winter , we got 2 new sleds ordered hopefully coming in before the early permit deadline. We got rid of the heavy 4 strokes turbos they where too much for me to handle any more . It was good hearing from you have not seen any activity on Ontario conditions from you. Greg

I emailed them and it is not possible to get a permit without the Vin Number. Hello, Unfortunately you cannot purchase a trail permit in advance if you are missing the #VIN number. You may inquire with your snowmobile dealership if they may be able to get the number in advance for you. Thank you,

Just wondering if it is possible to purchase our year trail pass before we get the Vin # we have 2 new snowmobiles on order and hopefully will take delivery before December 9th deadline . But would like to know if we have a option on purchasing our permits .?? Thanks tried to do FAQ on website for permits did not find any info Zrtkat

Viper2 Can I explain my reasoning this year to getting a 7 day pass versus buying a season pass early before deadline . Every year we have come to Quebec snowmobiling we purchase a seasonal pass and we only come up snowmobiling for 7-10 days . This year was different due to my health we did not know if I would be able to go or not till after December. So yes I agree the seasonal pass is the way to go before December and next year we will be purchasing early for sure, I am not on here complaining about loosing Money on trail permits,and first 2 nights of lodging, I think it is only fair for the lodging to charge me because they could have rented them out . I am more upset about not doing what we love to do and thats snowmobiling in Quebec ,So all we can do is let it go and look forward to next year enjoying what we love to do Hoping the season is long for people snowmobiling in Quebec Greg
