  1. My wife and I have Sena 30k's. We love them. Batteries last all day, No static whatsoever. You can interrupt each other unlike the old colletts. My brother has Sena 20's and when pair up with his group, everyone with a 20 is full of static.
  2. Constuction Knee pads on the outside of your suit, an 18-inch windshield and keep the cruising speed down a little.
  3. I am looking to get up riding as well, but I can't leave till Thursday.
  4. I like the place until it comes to opening the door to room 201, I had that jail cell three times now.🙄
  5. There was a question below where you type the card number asking if you want your credit card company to send a code to make this purchase, I clicked yes and typed it in.
  6. clever response to the officer, I like that.
  7. It would be safer to tie the right ski of the dead sled to the bumper, that way the sled is out in the kill zone instead of the human. I am going to exchange the rivets for stainless bolts on my sled, that's a lot of money hanging by the rivet.
  8. Ah, The smell of that Yamaha idling exhaust fumes in the room for 12 minutes, a wake up call was never needed. Jim, on the inside of the belt cover, make sure the rivets are not buffed clean from the belt. my first belt exploded and tweaked the cover enough to kill two more belts quick. have fun men.
  9. 100% Agree. Plus if you can't answer yes to this question, maybe you shouldn't be in the sport. Are you willing to spend the night in the woods if need be? I will spend the night with anyone to ensure their survival even if they screwed up. That's what I signed up for when I entered the sport.
  10. Actually Mr Gutz, This was my story. His was a couple hundred yards.

  13. My speedometer says 2,071 for a trip total, I will have to get that fixed.
  14. Enough for a half of bottle of pepper on my tongue. I recon.
  15. Post up that picture of the Chevron sign you took. That will show the distance so that everybody can see the reality.
  16. There is no 250 - 300 yards, 30 feet over the top of that hill that I just posted a picture of is where the trail turns. I guess I didn't hear the whistle because my helmet was on and I was breathing heavy trying to lift the back of my sled by myself.
  17. First of all I'd like to thank everyone for not passing judgment before I got to post the facts. Everybody makes mistakes, including Tom. He missed a Chevron sign himself and blew off the trail 3 days after this incident. It happens. The decision was made to turn around; I would never, ever go on a recon mission 30 seconds after the decision was made by both of us to turn around. Tom's sled was never buried. I was leading with a 121 track. He should have been leading with his 144, but that's my opinion. My snowmobile will not move in 4' - 6' of powder as Tom said the Scandic did. From where I went off trail is 30 feet, not 30 yards as Tom stated that he would have to walk. Also, by looking at the picture, anyone can tell that it's not a 35 - 40 percent grade. Plus you can see that it's about 300 feet not 250 - 300 yards as Tom stated. If he would have walked that 30 feet of powder, he would have saw me, but that didn't happen. I understand that Tom has asthma and the best thing for him to do is turn tail and run for help, which he did and I am grateful. I just wanted to state the facts and correct the inaccuracies of this thread and do a followup on my 2-1/2 hr. experience waiting for help.
  18. Looking forward to meeting everyone Sunday.
  19. It looks like a few others went of that "rock" also. I would have stood there and said to myself, hey I high marked it.
