  1. Just wanted to put in a great word for Dumaine du Lac Edouard. We stopped in there last Thursday night and have nothing but good to say about the accommodations but the owner really went above and beyond. He gave us great food, cold drinks, good rooms, but spent over 45 minutes on the phone trying to help us find lodging on the busy Friday night ahead. If your ever in the area highly recommended! Also helped us out with a dead sled in the morning due to freezing cold temperatures.
  2. So we decided to trailer u to Auberge du Vieux Moulin. Actually don't have an itinerary yet but were hoping this ongoing storm opens some more options. We were looking at looping up through Valin, but kinda nervous on the free weekend and the fact it will be Friday-sat when we would be up there. Looking to miss the rush.
  3. I have been over twice. If I remember correctly it’s about 20 min or so off the main trail. Have to run down side of road for a little bit at some point. Definitely a cool place to check out though.
  4. Hi guys, been a little bit since I have been around. So me and a few first timers are going to be heading up January 14-19th to do a nice 4-5 day loop. I have done roughly all of the regions and personally I love eastern Quebec and riding the mountains. With that being said are coming from Buffalo NY and my group wants to keep drive time to a minimum so western side is about 2.5 hrs shorter drive. I'm wondering based on what the conditions are at this point were would the best place to start a nice loop be from? I'm thinking St. Raymond and north on the west side or putting together a loop from Ville Marie on the eastern side. Looking for anyone one how has done a loop in these places and hows it looking. Thanks
  5. Good wine spot if ur into that
  6. we stopped there few weeks ago. id say more high end from what I've seen. we liked it for few drinks and a absolute beautiful view. def off the beaten path! id go for it
  7. What a ride today. Started out chilly but the ride up from st. Ray to the delta was great. Got a little choppy the last 10 miles on 83 but overall we had an awsome day.
  8. Great we will head down there little later and hopefully meet you guys! Would be great to thank you in person for all your imput!
  9. Owwwch! Lol well it is what it is. Thanks for the imput. I definitely feel better making the run up. Sitting at Roquemont now drinking some beers waiting to go tomorrow!!
  10. Great thank you. Safe to say I think it’s more then ok to just make the run there with our machines
  11. On a side note leaving from st. Ray heading north, what is exact mileage to the apica lookout? I’m debating on stopping for fuel at l’etape or making the run. The 900ace should be more then ok to make it I’m running a 1200 skidoo but I do have a 3 gal caddy. Just don’t want to be cutting hairs on fuel.
  12. I definitely exiting some traffic heading up Saturday to delta but I’m glad Quebec traffic is not the same as NY traffic lol. That would make for a long ride
  13. I dug and dug one this with no luck. Doing the run Saturday. We ended up booking at hotel delta. Looks like weather is going to be nice this weekend hope it’s not to busy out there!
  14. So we decide to start a day earlier. Wanted to break up trip from ray to passions. So I'm looking at riding to Alma and then making a long ride over to Passions. Does anyone have any recommendations were to stay east of the lake? Hotel Universal is full sat night. I am. looking at Auberge des Iles has anyone stayed there before?
