Is there still gas in Mont Louis? In Chandler tonight. Headed to Mont Saint Pierre tomorrow. Will stop in Murdochville but like to gas at the end of the day. If not where is the next gas headed west? Thanks.

Recommend Onachiway for lunch, around 175 miles RT. Auberge du Ravage on Lac Moreau for lunch will be less than 175 miles. Mount Apica and Milot are other options. Was up a few days ago. Trails great.

Agree the best trail and views are on the north shore. Missed it one year because of a storm. Always plan that section early in our trip now. The south shore is flat with a lot of road crossings. Planning our 9th trip this year. They’re nothing like it.

We did a four day trip from Les Escoumins to Mont Valin Sunday-Wednesday. Trails were very good. 93 to Chappelle, the Bras Louis and 393trail to Onachiway were all great. Headed home before Thursdays storm. http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_01/B80420C8-E814-4E4C-AA1C-BAB2707063BF.thumb.jpeg.580b59556a4c0c34511b769dd64aaf31.jpeghttp://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_01/3DDEDD00-7838-4409-864E-F5FBAA00935A.thumb.jpeg.8d3db84e810bc3c39956973e326438a5.jpeg

Easy ride from the Delta to KM31 so you can do some exploring on your way. The Delta is a nice hotel, it has good parking and a restaurant onsite. Saguenay Bill is from NH and a great ambassador for the region.

KM31 is basic but a favorite of ours because of the location. The food is good. We rode 93 to Sacre Couer-great trail. The Pelchat Trail is recommended if the weather is good. I wouldn’t do it in a storm. The local trail to Onatchiway is usually good but we didn’t get up there last week. Generally, the local trails are great.

Got back from a week in Quebec Wednesday. Started at the Roquemont and rode up to the Delta, over to KM31 and back TQ 3 and the Richelieu. Probably 4 feet of snow along the trails. No dirt on the trails. Even Quebec City had good coverage. The season is still going strong there.

sounds like a real adventure. Nice to see the mid-winter pictures. Time to start planning for next year!

The Fairmont hotel was empty Friday night. It is usually packed. Assume it was due to the casino closing and not the snow Friday.

Anyone seeing sledding issues from Covid virus
Grampsledder replied to smclelan's topic in General Discussion
We crossed yesterday at Derby/Stanstead. They asked if we traveled outside NorthAmerica recently. No problem crossing. -
We heard that. Government ordered. Closed because of concerns over the virus.
