  1. We will drive to Matane or Amqui if there's snow around there. Shows passing rain but temps supposed to drop so maybe it will recover just enough to ride by next Wed AM. It's a long shot 😞
  2. I hope this rain down here is some snow up there or we're going to be forced to cancel for next Tuesday.. checked with the universal and it's still just a very fair 24-hour notice for cancellations.
  3. What a difference 5 1/2 weeks makes ! Plan a ride there 3/6…..time will tell ! http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2024_02/IMG_2113.thumb.jpeg.91ac48146b8b0a863422b7f19e9b8f55.jpeg
  4. Great write up Mike ! The pisser is a typically common 8-10” snowfall we would be near prime time most all areas there ….but it’s just not happening. Glad you found some sweet spots !
  5. Conditions were good on 80% of the trails. The percentage of shirt is up a lot since yesterday AM. Typical mid season warm up that looks like spring riding. We were lucky to get in to ride Tuesday on…as we guessed it’s changing. Not sure how they even groom some of the areas that are real thin…while others remain thin but very good.
  6. FYI. I'd stay off 371 with the warm up and a few plowed sections. Yesterday was good but.....
  7. Took 579. There’s a few plowed road spots but enough snow on them or good edges for now. Nearly all of 579 was great.
  8. I am. Since Tuesday. Been a blast. It is flat and fast. Thin but very rideable. A little snirt in spots. Can’t take much warmup. Went up to the windmills in Redemption. Lookout is very cool. Great weather but creeping up in temp each day. Got a bit mushy this afternoon. Early morning is your friend right now.
  9. Coming out of Amqui early this AM. We came in 5 from Rimouski yesterday. Heading out to see the mummy’s and up over the beautiful windmill trail. When We get to the split of 579 / 587 is one way or the other more scenic/ better trail ? I’m routing and would like the best scenery. http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2024_02/IMG_2093.thumb.jpeg.7c07358c9eff239fc9d81831414b69d1.jpeg
  10. Great reports Chris. Thanks for the effort.
  11. Nice…well that’s a huge help ! How far is the run up that off 587 once you turn up the trail Andy ? Looks like 2ish miles. Great intel found only on QR. ✌️
  12. Yes. That’s it. Thanks. I will check the map keep an eye out for the side trail. Love this site and the sledders on it.
  13. Good info. Checked with Andy and he said it’s better than the reporting suggests. We are there by noon Tuesday and will see !
  14. Great info ! We went RDL to Squatec to Amqui a few years back. Leading into Amqui there was a trail that was steep in spots…real pretty…higher elevation..windmills..then lead down into Amqui. What trail was that ? I think we headed across 35 in that direction.
  15. Thanks guys. Hoping for some more snow. In RDL Tuesday. Temps look ok but sunny unfortunately. Looking at 35 from Squatec towards Rimouski it hasn’t been groomed lately so they must be low snow in that area. 😞
  16. RDL to Moose Valley mileage Mike ? thanks !
  17. Forgot about Rob’s tagged weather post above ! Not much snow coming up. Thursday nite says “snow” but no estimates. Mike, Did you venture downtown and see if the restaurant is still there ?
