  1. Made it back to St Agatha Lakeview Restaurant.! Mint Day! Trails were great all day. Quebec and New Brunswick. Still Lots of snow in the high ground. Weather looks good for the most part up in the north country for another good week of sledding! Get it while you can. Trail 85 and 35 was flat and fast today. Not many sleds. Had the whole trail system to ourselves! Oilman
  2. Thank you Mike. It’s been great. Left Saint Agatha ME Thursday. Went to Rimouski first night. Universal last two nights. Headed back to Maine today. All in all great. In the cities it’s thin like a normal late March situation. Oilman
  3. Any good spots for lunch in Cabano? Headed from Universal back to Maine. Can’t remember what is good in Cabano? Ty Oilman
  4. Mike, Sounds like everything is shaping up good up to RDL. Should be up there around 02/08/23. Will be snowmobiling from my house in St Agatha Maine up to Universal for a couple nights. Looks good everywhere. New snow and cold in the long range! Oilman
  5. Hi neksledr, Sorry for late response, but thought I would share this. For some reason that part of 23 does not show up on the normal trail and grooming site. I don’t know if groomer has the gps function or not. But if you go onto St. Raymond trail report it will show when they last groomed that trail to L’Etape and other trails in and around ST. Raymond. https://clubmotoneigest-raymond.com/conditions-sentiers/ Oilman

  8. Looks like things are shaping up around RDL Jack. Glad you and Sandi are having a good week. My trip went well. Things are shaping up good in Quebec for sure. I will be snowmobiling out of my house in Saint Agatha Maine and headed for the Universal around Feb 15. For a few days. Hope to see a few sledders then. Oilman
  9. Yes Mike. Either in Maine or Canada. I did buy a house in Saint Agatha on Long lake. So hope to be riding out of there and sledding into Quebec from there. It’s looking better up there in last couple days.
  10. Looks good guys!! Thanks for sharing! Oilman
  11. Todays Run: left Delta and headed for Mt Valin. In town trails all freshly groomed. Go across both bridges and take a right to head for 93. Trail went to 4/10. The quad trail that ran beside it was all freshly groomed, snowmobile trail nope. At least it was a short run to 93. Head east on 93, back to Mint conditions. All good to K31. Had lunch and a splash of fuel and off to St. Ambroise. 93 west to 328 west to 367. All good running. Did a loop in that area and then headed back to the Delta. 175 miles today. Not much traffic at all. Nice to sled mid week for sure.
  12. Good report Jack. Glad you guys found some good riding around RDL, even if it’s not full operation like normal. Appreciate the info. And as far as Mike goes, he needs to get back up there! Lol. Oilman

  14. Left Saint Raymond and headed for L’Etape. Plenty of snow. Trails 7/10. Last groom 4-5 days ago. Fueled up and had a bite to eat and off to Mount Apica. Warmed up and had a quick drink. Trails 9/10 north of L’Etape. Took 23 north to 83 East into the Delta in Jonquiere. Trails again 9/10. Great run 197 Miles. My Girlfriend did great on the 600 Switchback. First time riding in Canada. Will try to post some pics. Oilman

  19. Day 2: May 4 2019. Another great ride and bluebird skies here in the Mountains!! Early day, got back to truck at 2:45 with 120 miles. Girlfriend did well up here. Looks like 1-2 more weeks to me if you really want to get it. Issues will be be 2 K in and out of both Passions and Relais Onatchiway. KM 31 all set. If you don’t mind riding dirt and snirt for a few, then no problem and will be great for May!! Rode orange trails when we could and went east of KM 31. Tons of snow!! Headed back now half way and put up somewhere. Here are a few pics from today! I guess that will be a wrap for me. See you next Fall!! Oilman
  20. What a great day to still be riding sleds! Every 6-7 years I like to find somewhere to ride in May. Mount Valin area is usually a good choice. Left Passions and went to Relais Onatchiway for lunch via Brais-Louis and Huit Chutes. From there headed for KM 31 via 267 to 93. Played around on a lot of the orange trails which were still in good conditions for May 3!!. Thought I would share a few pics of the day. 45-50 degrees . 140 miles. Going again tomorrow and make are way further east beyond KM 31 and see how that is. Oilman!!
  21. Got to love late March riding in the Gaspe! Big playground all to yourself!
  22. It is pretty neat to be able to ride out of camp in Western Maine and be at the Delta in Jonquière in 2 days! 495 miles door to door!
