I rode in the region of Papineau Labelle Park out of Montpelier this Saturday, trails were 10 on 10, best ride of the year, Here are some pics. we did 250km in 3-4 hours, fast open riding, we stopped for some lunch too. We parked at Motel Riopel in Montpelier.

I was there this past Saturday, I parked at Motel Riopel that is really the place. There was some americans there having fun at the bar but we just parked for the day and left. The food was ok, we had dinner nothing great. As for the trails 10 on 10, low traffice and beautiful scenery, wide and fast in papineau labelle park and same thing towards Duhamel. You can park there and ride to Mont Laurier no problem, great place to park for sure.

I recently did some snowmobiling in Saint Donat this Past Saturday. It was nice overall, the conditions were good. Some rocks on the trail but mostly good coverage and the trails were groomed. I took some pictures. We went from Saint Donat to Notre Dame de la Merci, to Saint Come (Coin Lavigne) Into Mont Tremblant Park, down to caribou trail back to Saint Donat. Yeah well the tranny went after my mechanic before I left punctured the line from the cooler to the transmission so I am hoping to get a insurance check soon! The miles for the poker run was 230 KM for the whole ride. Really nice. No trouble areas there, all trails are open, plenty of snow and just great, a place to go, it is amazing, 10/10.

Yeah I am going to try and go up there again this weekend, the trails just south of Saint Georges towards jackman ME are open around Armstrong.... That is about it though, man this dry spell and rain we got is just killer, I am so sad, I just hope we get some snow soon.

I did 600km from Levis, QC to Saint Georges, QC to Montmagny back to Levis, in 2 days, trails were excellent. Great area to ride, as I have done the Saint Donat thing and Saint Michel it is old news. Just a suggestion, to everyone try this area, it is great, people welcome snowmobiliers, no trail closures and low traffic and you have hills, flat, mountains all in the same day, just great.
