  1. We have visited for lunch and also stayed overnight while passing thru Valin on a bagger. Food was very good, even on the american plan. Cabins were great. Roomy and warm (able to dry out gear) and they overlooked the fjord. Depending on which cabin you get you can walk to the main lodge..which also has a killer sauna. I would not plan on doing more then 1-2 days out of there, as the road ride in and out is always thin, regardless of how much snow is on the ground. There is also a lot of backtracking in order to get to trail system if staying for multiple days.
  2. KEEP MONT VILAIN IN MIND. GOOD FOOD, GAS AND GREAT TRAILS TO AND FROM( CAN GIVE YOU POTENTIAL TO BUY A PASS FOR A DAY IN THE ZEC, IF YOU LIKE FLAT TRAILS) GETS YOU OUT OF THE CRAZINESS WITHOUT ACTUALLY BEING TO FAR OUT.
  3. So...Has Anyone rode off-piste while staying at Ravage. Accommodations are top notch but just making sure that there are plenty of areas relatively near the lodge to get stuck..we do have a snowbike In the group which prefers to stay off trails. The terrain in that region always looks beautiful screaming down the trail, so we were thinking this would be a great spot to explore off the beaten path. Also, how is route 381 North to their location (in comparison to 175 to Sag) We are looking at the first full week of March and just throwing out ideas. Thx!
  4. Agreed great stretch of trail and good location for relais... Speaking of 355..who has more info on this single tracked donkey path heading east..about half way thru 355. Would this trail send one east toward the Relais @ Mt Apica? I almost took it but had reservations at the Presbytere, and hated to miss their fondue!!
  5. Any fellow QR ride with a NS1 Guage/GPS? I am pretty close to jumping aboard for 18/19 winter...however just wondering if there has been any Quebec tests over the past year or two. I will be riding a new High Country and it sounds like they are more Cat friendly then other brands at the moment. It’s a sweet concept, however I wish it would hook up with Inreach in place of gotenna.
