  1. I'm back! Fantastic conditions, even better company! 240 miles today. Five more days to go! Oops! Wait, I have an idea... Let me get the Snobungee!
  2. Hey Mike- You need to clean out your inbox on the forum. Trying to send you a message to setup the end of the month and your inbox is full! Terry
  3. As they say, "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"... After mike went home that trip, I was touring solo. I took a wrong turn and ended up with many more miles away from my planned and only fuel stop in the area. I was about a mile out of town when my sled stopped. The first group of sledders paused, then rode off. The next group stopped and one of them had the Ski-Doo spare can. Great guys! I took well deserved ribbing from them and they refused to take cash from me. They were from Maine. Very thankful they came along and they had spare gas! Phil, I like your dual jug fuel and oil setup. On the same trip above where I ran out of gas, I had a fresh new gallon of oil fall out of my bag. I think what I'm going to do is use the Polaris bags that came with my Adventure and bungee a small tank in the bag tray when I do the touring rides this season. Picture of the guys that saved my day...
  4. Who needs spare gas when you have friends with great MPG sleds Mike, right?! You better have spare gas for my Polaris this season!! LOL Phil, Polaris had a mount for those jugs but I can't find it now. Where did you get that setup?
  5. Great video!! Watching it reminded me that it's been way toooooo long since I've last visited you Bill!! Hope everyone is well! Terry
  6. Ray, mike+glassed=no worries! :-)
  7. Awesome Mike. Look forward to the daily reports!!!! Terry
  8. But they are required to have a sled that gets better MPG and a tow rope!
  9. The mountain is on trail 587 N, between 579 and 591. There will be an intersection at the top and there will be a sign. It should be obvious. Hopefuly you make it on a blue sky day and if you catch a good sunset, please post the pictures. You are also close to a full moon this week!
  10. Let's hope so for Mike's sake, else this will happen to him again!
  11. Thank goodness you were taking a picture going down the trail right then! :-)
  12. I was up there Tuesday last week. I kinda regret not staying in say Ampqui the night so that I could ride back to see the trees at sunset. I'd also imagine they would be spectacular under a full moon!
  13. $57 Canadian for a gallon semi-synthetic. As of Wednesday, there is a just opened gallon somewhere between Releis La Cache and Saint-Paulin on trail 595. If you find it, feel free to use it on me!
  14. Riding the deck of the ski area, really? Another example of a inconsiderate rider out wrecking the sport for everyone else. C'mon guys....
  15. None taken. Plugs are no longer applicable with the e-tecs....
  16. I see it all the time, guy gets new sled, significant other gets the hand me down and then the guy wonders why they aren't having a good time!!! +whatever to "a happy significant other = happy you". I've also found it useful that our sleds "match". Same plugs, same belts, same oil, same MPG, and on and on.
  17. If all the facts are truthfully represented, it would be interesting to know how this rider got a VAST trail permit without being registered in Vermont or another state as it is a prerequisite for the VAST permit! If it is true he didn't have a valid state registration, then the person who sold the VAST permit and the person who sold the QC permit both made significant mistakes! Ultimately it is the snowmobilers responsibility to make sure he has everything required and if he/she is that clueless than they got what they deserved. Now after reading the HCS post, it sounds like he deserved to get a ticket as he seemed pretty clueless.
  18. Typical computer guy, no backups. We never practice what we preach!
  19. I had the opportunity last season to spend a day on an '08 Nytro and put about 200 miles on it. If my mind was any more open to anything other than skidoo my brains would fall out. I couldn't wait to give back the Nytro and get back on my XP Adrenaline. It's going to be interesting to hear what '08 XP owners have to say about the '09s and all the anticipated “updates” as people get out there and ride. I replaced Mrs. Crazed's 08 500ss TNT (not the sled for her or me) with a '09 e-tec Adrenaline and started the break in last week with a 200 mile ride in VT. Yes, it's better than our '08 TNT was but it darted a little more than I thought it should (could be a set up issue or conditions) but one thing that caught me off guard was ski lift in turns. It surprised me twice and not something I recall with my ‘08. More to come....
  20. It was great to see you Bill! See you this season for sure!! Terry
  21. You just gave me a reason to go to the Mass show!! See you first thing that Saturday! Terry
