  1. same story here in western mass...another win for the super market...no snow after big predictions....1/2 an inch %$&*!!
  2. north shore above the river heading on 3 towards forestville has a lot of trails off 3 and conditions there are good...same story heading all the way to sept ille...certainly isn't going to be a deal where you will find all the fancy places like universal hotel...but with a GPS and a realization that it will be more adventure and discovery...especially since most have never been up that far...it's great riding and exciting...AND WAY BETTER THAN SITTING HOME GIVING UP ON THE SEASON...the temps look like they are cooperating...if we can get a storm...it will be excellent in the north country
  3. we are suppose to get a foot starting tonight thru tomorrow...you can feel it in the air here...wish it was in Quebec
  4. from the river north to sept ille on 3 still shows good
  5. 516 Ch de Parent ...QC GOX 3PO Canada.....1-819-667-2112...closes at 8 pm...the other phone number is 1-819-676-6466...one at the camps the other is home by Gouin reservoir
  6. Just pulled the trigger on a 2024 Lynx x terrain brutal 850...trading in the 2020 extreme...lighter sled without the two speed transmission with XRS suspension...and 4 more wheels in rear skid and a 7.2 cluster...all the Linq accessories swap over...great trade and 1.4 interest...putting my faith in many more great winters ahead of us...and hopefully the best is yet to come this season...like ice said...IT ISN'T OVER!!
  7. 61 at home yesterday...mines in the garage on a tender...but I live a mile down a muddy dirt road....CVO stayed in the garage....but I was sure thinking about it
  8. I'm very confident it isn't over...plenty of snow to come...just don't put those groomers away !!
  9. Very good observation...trying hard to make the worst of the situation...completely brain dead
  10. you might have gotten what was left...it's certainly better than the 61 degrees and hard rain here in mass....guess it's good for the lawns...wish I was there riding ..hopefully the next month will treat us better...great pictures and live report
  11. Heading there and east last few days of the month and first week of march...and with the cold coming and hopefully more snow by then it should be very good up there
  12. one of my favorite stops...we have stayed there as well...wasn't 5 star but...extremely nice people...they deserve our support
  13. Also plan ahead...unlike the good old days...the dealer is closed on weekends...so don't break down or need oil and belts ...it's your last stop if you are heading east...these guys also have great intel on local trails going west...days worth of good riding here if you care to hang out for a few days..and plenty of good restaurants and basically anything else you will need...rather than ferry from Matane another great avenue is leaving from Sacre-Coeur and riding up through Forestville...they certainly do not get the same traffic up there and have a little more snow and a few degrees colder...every little bit counts between 25 to 32 degrees
  14. I'm hoping last week of February and first week of March will be the prize this year...if not ...we can chalk this up to the worst year ever.
  15. I call the ski doo dealer there for info...they are very good and everyone there rides
  16. 50 percent chance it will snow sometime during the day....it will snow 50 percent of the day....50 percent chance it will snow somewhere during the day
  17. did you go over 3 or 4 lakes and come out on the 345 3/4 of the way to repo
  18. This isn't being addressed properly...and we are missing a great opportunity here...we have all these people lined up against us and this sport we love..trying to extort money, close trails...and come up with more restrictive regulations ...all the time.... FCMQ should have a reciprocal policy...get caught with your car or truck on our maintained trail system and the fine is 100$ a foot for every foot you are in on the trail...plus a 1000$ minimum recovery fee...this money goes to the nearest club that grooms or goes towards bridge and trail maintenance....only seems fair...and it should also count towards you drivers license and insurance costs....and if you are a school bus driver the fees are doubled
  19. when in Sept- tile I used the traffic light and road rather than trying to cross the 4 lanes with the curb in the middle for gas...and use a taxi for everything else...never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride to dinner or ski doo dealer...and the fee is extremely reasonable
  20. I too am looking at the snow cover and not really interested in mudding in and out of town locales...best cover is definitely up north and it looks like a great year to cross the mosey river and head north
  21. I'm only drinking bottled water from now on when I'm in Quebec, guy with the most sets of keys at the end of the season gets a free trail pass next winter...just understand how much you will be helping them by preventing them from getting back behind the wheel...and how the hell did this idiot get a school bus license??
  22. I can't believe how bad the weather forecast is...worst season I can remember...maybe we will get lucky the last 2 weeks of February....#%*&#!!
