  1. Trails are perfect. Heading to Amos Thursday for a quick run to Chibougamau.
  2. Great thank you. Will have to check that spot out for sure!
  3. What’s your top 3 favourite PQ loops? While there are so many beautiful well groomed trails throughout the province curious what your top 3 would be. 2nd question what would be your top 5 auberge (accommodations to stay at) My favourites are below in no particular order. 1. Gaspe especially the top, along the St Lawrence, also the middle cache, murdochville. 2. Val d’or to Chibougamau down the 93 and across the 83 clova, lac Fallion back to Val d’or. 3. Mont Laurier up 13 to Parent down to Kanawta to lac Tareau to back to Mont Laurier. Top 5 auberge in no particular order. Mekoos Rabasaka lodge 100 lacs Forestel lac Blanc
  4. I would think Val d'or and north would be best but each year is different. We are hoping to do tis trip March 30. Keep checking the app for current conditions
  5. Yes, it’s appreciated. Them members of this forum has never steered me wrong yet!
  6. I have seen this place on the map and wondered about it. Is it far north of 83 and is it well marked? Nice place to stay?
  7. It’s going to be close to -30 this coming weekend in Chibougamau. We better get some windshields….
  8. Looks aren’t everything when it’s -30 out
  9. Oh no, we have great gear, new sleds but zero windshields…..going to fly by the seat of our pants here. Thank you to all for taking the time to post your advice. It’s appreciated!
  10. We have a trip planned next week leaving from Labannik in Ville Marie to Val D’or for a night then straight up 93 to Chibougamau then back the same route the next day. Chibougamau has been on our list to do and we were really looking for to it until we saw the weather forecast of -29c on the way up and -25c on the way back without the windchill factor. It’s approx 450km from Val-d’Or to Chibougamau one way. Since we have never ran 93 north before it would be appreciated if the experienced members could say nay or yeah. Is this too remote to travel with these temperatures? If so what would be some other options? Appreciate your advice. Thank you so much.
  11. Good Morning, Is anyone having issues opening the iMotoneige app? I am trying to map some trip for the upcoming season and it’s not uploading?
  12. Thank you. Has anyone been to the Delta in the last few days? How are the conditions?
  13. Wow, thank you for this information. I heard the delta is a good place to start from. I met a older gentleman named Bill at the Toronto snowmobile show a few years ago that was endorsing this property. He was not French but from Maine if I remember correctly.I will check to see the trail conditions maybe that would be a great starting point. Ty again for all the information here!
  14. Ok thank you! We don’t have ski wheels and booked KM 31 for 3 nights for our last ride. If anyone could post their experience of there stay here it would be greatly appreciated. What are the trails like in this area. We heard it’s best to avoid on the weekends so plan to trailer home on Saturday.
  15. Thank you where would you suggest we start from? Auberge KM31 looks good. Can we do loops from there or is saddlebagging best?
  16. We are looking to one last ride next week in PQ. Any ideas where the conditions would be best? Or is this season over? Appreciate your suggestions!
  17. Yes was able to find synthetic BRP oil at most larger gas stations when we did Gaspe 3 winters ago. I would bring some just Incase…
  18. Not a problem at all. Secure parking with video security.
  19. Great place. Trailered to lac Blanc last Tuesday for a 4 day ride. Comfortable rooms, food is delicious( especially trout clubhouse). We made a nice loop, to kanawata first night, 83 west through parent to 100 lacs (another great spot) then down to auberge lac tareau then a 1/2 day back to La Blanc.
  20. Bonjour, Does anyone know if this lodge is opened for this season? Ty
  21. Thank you all for your help, it’s been valuable. The big loop 93/83 makes me a little worried as only one of our guys carries fuel. Let me verify what my new 850 will do in terms of fuel mileage.
  22. Thank you. Yes I was looking at that, it would be about 400km a day. Was looking at fuel stops after Chibougamau looked too a little scarce towards Roberval. Is the 93 a nice trail?
  23. Thank you for taking the time to post this information iceman, I appreciate it. I know you have been on most of the trails in PQ is there another itinerary or area you would suggest for a 5-6 day saddle bag trip. We did Gaspe 2 winters ago and really enjoyed that as well!
