Hey all, had a once in a lifetime trip planned coming from southern NB to the Gaspe trails. The highlight of the trip was to be the trail through the Chic Choc mountains. Now hearing that the trail is closed I’m wondering if we should postpone till next year. Never been there, too old to go twice so looking opinions. I feel like the trip will be phenomenal regardless but hate to miss out on the mountain range.

To much to see, don't let one trail stop you because it's closed this season. Every year there is a new trail closed for whatever reason, I don't think that stops us from riding certain areas, we have to adjust our routes.
There are members on this site that know their shit about riding Quebec trails, they will help you with your questions.

When I sold one of my sleds I decided to go with the mirror that mounts to the windshield, first ride up north with the new ones I did not like, to much vibration, went back to the sticks next ride. Last time at Mont Apica on break some one came in to say hi, I asked them how did you know we were here, your mirrors.

Did SkiDoo bring back the mirrors from ‘06 -07 ?Funny, I have been using these popsicle sticks sense the first Revs. I like how I can see the group of riders behind me, sometimes the best show that day was in my mirrors.

A 3 pack of bikes spent the night at Kanawata, spoke to one of them for a while. He said as long as you avoid the “potatoes” on the road it’s fine. He said his group rented X3’s a few years back, he said that was fun too.
I like the ball mount on the truck, looks like a potato already went through the grill.

When I ordered my pass on the first day, it would not let my card go through, tried 3 times, got to watch the video all those times, said the heck with this lets try tomorrow.
Tried again, more video, card not going through again, what the hell! Let's go at it again, more video, but tried a different card.
Shazam! Guess it didn't like my 1st card.
