Great idea on the thread.  I am definitely ready for some “throttle therapy” as Kenny calls it.
 I have no clue on the clubhouse, looks  remote. 
I love meeting fellow QR riders on the trail.  Those would be some of the best pics, but I always forget to take one.  Here are some favorites to keep the thread going.

Haven't heard much news about QuebecRiders getting new sleds this year.
Bought mine today. Last four sleds were 900 ACE's, needed something different. Maybe at 70 I needed one more hot rod before I get too old.

There is actually an error on the interactive map about the Kanawata location, I am at sending a correction request for it
On this interactive map snapshot the left indication is good but the right one about 10 miles in the wood to the east that appear when you search for gaz, lodging etc... is out of no where. I am trying to take care of that...

345 heading to the 83 goes within sight, (almost) of the Casey Airport, no worries there. 😏

Great idea Towing.
Many will know where these pictures are from. This was a trip last February. Unfortunately they don’t groom the east -west trail that leads to the cave from the local trail that runs north and south. So have to ride a few km of ungroomed moguls. Was reading they are trying to discourage people from visiting the cave.

Snowmobiling on the Monts-Valins: the parties reach an agreement for 2023-2024
 
"Members of the Fédération des clubs de motoneigistes du Québec (FCMQ), who hold a right of access for the 2023-2024 season, will be able to ride their snowmobiles on the marked and federated trails of the Zec Martin-Valin without having to register and without paying an additional passage fee."

These bridges were needed as the trail used to pass on the frozen river. Hydro Quebec built a new barrage (dam) and now the river no longer freezes. 
Ihe local club Le Blizzard lobbied for a long time and Hydro Quebec built the bridges.

Hello members of the Mount Logan Snowmobilers Association,our bridge on the Cap Chat River near the ski resort is undergoing major renovations.thanks to our landowners who have renewed their rights of way to access the footbridge.

Not an area I am very familiar with but someone here knows where this is for sure. Looks to be along the route 117. Petit train du nord trail?

Hello snowmobilers, in an effort to always have safe trails, here is some work done on the hill in Morisson.
L'ensemencement est fait, les travaux sont terminés. Il ne manque que la NEIGE!!!
The seeding is done, the work is finished. All that's missing is the SNOW!
 
 

Little argument on who will pay.

Uncertainty surrounds the rights of way for the snowmobile trail linking Saguenay to the Monts Valin. The City of Saguenay believes that the bill should be split with Saint-Honoré. But mayor Bruno Tremblay takes a different view of the situation.
The section concerned is that between Parc de la Colline in Chicoutimi-Nord and the Trans-Québec 93 trail, in the Chemin du Volair sector of Saint-Honoré. In short, it's the link between Saguenay and the Monts Valin.
"It's the route taken by many of the tourists who come to the region to go snowmobiling in the mountains," points out Serge Gaudreault, Saguenay city councillor and chairman of the off-highway vehicle (OHV) committee.
For the record, Promotion Saguenay paid for the rights of way until 2017. At that point, Saguenay city council decided to assume the costs.
Except that last year, Club Caribou-Conscrits took care of it for free. "The club's directors came to see me to tell me that the city had to pay this year, or else they wouldn't turn up. They are also asking for feedback for last winter," explains Mr Gaudreault, who was unaware of the situation until last week.
If Saguenay still wants to contribute financially, he believes the bill could be shared with Saint-Honoré, since the trail is the link between the two municipalities. "They're asking us for $10,000. We think that the part that isn't on our territory should be paid for by Saint-Honoré. Without saying it has to be half and half, an effort could be made.
Serge Gaudreault points out that the City of Saguenay already pays around $200,000 in rights of way to snowmobile clubs. "We're the only ones in Quebec to pay that much. We do it because it's important for the economy.
In Saint-Honoré, the mayor, Bruno Tremblay, doesn't see why he should use public funds for this section. "It's the link for people going from Saguenay to the Monts Valin. We're just a stopover. For our part, we pay the right of way and maintenance fees from Chemin du Volair.
Mr Tremblay's position is inflexible. "We're not giving anything away. It will remain closed. Serge Gaudreault doesn't see it that way. "It has to be done. Everyone passes through there. It's a question of tourism and the economy. I'm optimistic that it will be resolved.
In the meantime, Club Caribou-Conscrits does not want to interfere in the public discussion, which is more of a political joust.
