With a possible 25-30cm on the way, will they re-open again or did the fat lady sing ? cold temps coming back after the 15th

Well i booked the hotels today in hopes there's still snow left after Wed . Going to trailer right to Lebel Q and run 3 days , 2 up to Chibougameau and back and 1 to Matagami and back. Forecast is showing 5-10cm after rain is over and cooler temps, so fingers are crossed.

Such beautiful trails, will 2 mild days and 5- 10mm of rain on Tues/Wed be enough to end it ?

Through Tadoussac on thurs and back again on Sunday , stayed at the Chantmartin . No snow from hotel down to ferry but rest was all good . Excellent trails right up to Baie Comeau.

Heading to Baie Comeau tomorrow and they just posted section of trail closed at Tadoussac . Has anyone been through last couple days ? It was green yesterday , maybe road work ?

Yes Hotel Central in Parent is back open again , we ate there twice last season and great lunch as always.

It will take a full week for that tour ! But well worth it and very little traffic .

My group is hoping to do Chibougamau tour this coming season as well ( first time ) but Im wondering if that will even be possible with all the wild fires up in that area last couple months and still burning , tens of thousands of hectares burnt up already . I’m curious to know how much this could affect the clubs up in that area ?

Will be passing through this coming Thursday and looking for a good spot to have lunch and couple beverages in the La Sarre region . Prefer not to eat in town due to lac of snow on streets and parking lots.

Is it possible to follow the road around to get back on the trail north of river ?

This coming Thurs we are leaving Shawinigan and heading up to Roberval and it would be faster to run up the 355 rather than the 73/83 route , does anyone know why it’s still red ? and a small section of red on the 23 at Saint-Tite ? thanks !

Yes Motel Du Lac is the best choice , like he said its right on the trail and gas station is 100 meters away with a small pizza joint and nice little dinner within walking distance.
