  1. My buddy is going down this week with his sons. He will be arriving via Murdockville. Where should he be gassing and is there any accommodations in Perce at this time. Going from memory its a real nice autobahn route down to the 5. I was there a few years back and all was good but I'm getting the impression it may be changed and want to give him a heads up. Also he will likely be starting from Rimouski. where would he be best to stay the first night if they are looking at 200-250 miles. In the past I stayed at the Relais Chic Choc. Any assistance I can relay on would be appreciated. Thanks Mike
  2. Spoke last night about trails and gas. He says gas is $1.40 in Clova, next stop will be every buddies favourite at Bal Buzurd and he said they will be charging $2.50 again and this will be the last stop before Senneterre area. Also for those of us who have enjoyed the trail up the Lepine Road from the Classic or nearby it wont be groomed this year. He says a new trail just after Fer Cheval will cut off to Clova and I believe will be partly on the upper end of Lepine Road but this wont be open for another week. He says about 4-5 inches in last 2 days of new snow, Mike
  3. yes that one was a classic. Last time I was one of the ladies had brought her new baby in to show the others. Little odd in most places and worst it tied up the 1 or 2 girls so we never got any attention or show.
  4. I'm assuming no body got hurt other than some accelerated heart rates in the area.
  5. I see they have a section around Chandler open on the Gaspe site. Murdockville should be good they seem to be getting a pile of it.
  6. Thanks for taking the time for the reports & pictures. Us mortals appreciate it greatly. Mike

  9. I see JB Scott on your list. Are they not there anymore? I've been going through the Leppine Road trail last few years. I know the fer cheval was closed for some time but heard that had opened again for sledders.
  10. I like the section at 1.16 to 1.25 where it shows them all stuck. Deserving for making us all jealous. Buggers. Looking forward to a great winter

  14. First picture was great because it was middle of April at La Verendre Lodge at the end of a bonus weekend. Second one was just after a storm in March, trail from Murdockville to La Cache.
  15. Nice shots and I think many of us had a great weekend weather wise. Fall is beautiful and hard to believe in less than 2 months we could be sledding. Groomer what's the word on the permits and when you expect to have them. Please post in the general so we can sign up. Thanks Mike
