The farmers, the ZEC’s they all want a piece of the pie. Can’t have a trail system without their land, but I don’t know what the long-term solution is.
The solution can be as simple as, the government that is getting a huge economic benefit from the snowmobile business offer the effected private landowners a break in property taxes they pay. As for the Zec I believe they are crown land with private management rights, tell them to pound sand.

Trudeau will likely dump a bunch of money in them.....goes along with his crazy vision.

It is too bad someone in the crew was not a YouTube pro. The whole trip could have made for a super series of videos.

BRP isn't the only Quebec business looking at dismal numbers. There are lots of motels, restaurants, relais, and a hundred other businesses that have had a terrible winter. The area around Quebec City had nothing to speak of for snow. This was the first time in 25 years I haven't sledded in the Gaspe. Trailered to the Quality Inn Matane then on the ferry was it. Sledded 5 days in Baie Comeau, Forestville, Mont Valin area, first time ever to measure snow depth in inches instead of feet. Pretty well every business we stopped at said thanks for coming, and appreciated our business, they all said numbers were terrible.

Sharp looking sled Chris. As for the upside down shocks, I am sure at some point next winter there will be a spot right after a sharp corner they will be turned the other way!

A ride report on the '24 MXZ Adrenaline 600R 129. 2,000 miles. "The great experiment"
First, the new 600R was fairly quiet for a 2 stroke, as I believe the G5 got more sound insulation added. The engine runs like a fine Swiss watch, perfect all the time at all RPM's. Very impressive. Gas mileage wasn't too bad unless I had a stretch of fast speeds like a RR bed, then the mpg plummeted fast. But I really missed the constant 20 mpg of the 900 ACE. Especially since each sled, 2 stroke or 4, has only a 9 1/2 gallon tank. I thought I would hate the MXZ trail seat compared to the Renegade's comfort seat, but I liked it just as much.

Surprised, after reading this part I expect you were going to order another 4-Stroke.

We never made it to Quebec last winter we had all our reservations, trail permits, we left I pulled out of my driveway looked in my mirror and my tire was leaning out on trailer further investigating found my trailer axle broke.
So I replaced both axles on trailer , electric brakes all set for this winter , we got 2 new sleds ordered hopefully coming in before the early permit deadline.
We got rid of the heavy 4 strokes turbos they where too much for me to handle any more .
It was good hearing from you have not seen any activity on Ontario conditions from you.
Greg
This is what would have happened if you had not noticed.

Certianly is the best long term sustainable option. However this is easiest on crown land, much more of a challenge on private. A trail system crossing a piece of private land could be considered a devaluing attribute.
