Hi Skidor... sorry to hear, hope you have some better luck next year. This is also a trip I would like to do. I am told the snow is currently good from BC / PC east, I think myself and another riding buddy might spend a few days next week and try to ride east to sept iles maybe even HSP. will see how the weather holds.

Hi Gutz, Rode Le Tape on Monday/Tuesday of this week, very good snow conditions, trails grromed and in great shape decent traffic. We loaded and trailered to Le Valinouet and rode Wednesday/Thursday. Trails on MT Valin were busy but in decent condition. Snow in the valley is skinny, less then 1Ft but believe you could ride from Le'Tape to the HI, conditions would not be the best getting into the HI, but there was sleds in valley when we passed by truck. I would say there is more snow in Le'Tape then on MT Valin Mike

Gaspe is a great trip If you start in RDL I would recommend Hotel Universel - www.hoteluniverselrdl.com Nice hotel, good restaurant on site and secure locked parking for truck and trailers. Good night life in RDL also From RDL you have a few different options on routes and clockwise or counter direction. I would defiantly recommend the 2 interior trails 595 and 597 along with 5 on the north shore Mt Saint Pierre. Snow can be skinny at times on the south east side so a caution in that area if tight on time I would give a thought to skipping this area. (New Richmond to Chandler) Perce is a great site to see, I enjoy stopping for food but would look to Gaspe for accommodations. My favorite place to stay is Relas Chic-Chocs. www.villagegrandenaturechic-chocs.com Great view of the Mountains in the Parc Log cabins with fireplaces and hot tubes. Mantane is also a great place to stop, good night life and restaurants. Hotel Riotel is a good choice, located directly on the river, with an outdoor spa. Signed, Thanks for the link. More laws for the bubble wrapped society we live in. Could existing laws not used. If the issue is aftermarket exhaust and booze as mentioned in another thread, could the current laws not be enforced? Or do guys that drink and ride and run with aftermarket exhaust only ride at night?
