  1. Great read, and pictures. It gives me some "must dos" for next season
  2. We are in PLC tonight. The place is in utter shock. We heard about it while picking up groceries. We were going to head to Amqui tomorrow, but out of respect, we will now stay to the Southern shore of the peninsula.
  3. We ran cable scratchers on our Vipers. Now using Qualipeices wheel kits on the Ski doos
  4. I can't blame you.............The sledding there SUCKS! 🤣
  5. I'm noticing that a lot of the pictures in the Gaspe people aren't carrying the linq fuel tank. Is fuel an non issue if all goes right? Any of my pervious trips, we always seemed to be into a fuel tank for someone. My pervious life in Search and Rescue had me going to assist those that weren't prepared, and we always took the attitude of "better to be looking at it, than looking for it." Am I over thinking the need for spare fuel? Packing sleds and gear on the trailer for tomorrows departure. We can't wait!
  6. My wife was speaking to a guy in PLC last evening. He said wheels are quickly becoming a must. Snow is retreating from roadside quickly. He said conditions are good, with lots of traffic. Daytime temps are unfortunately above zero from now until Wed.
  7. The pictures don't lie, and give the up to date conditions for trip planning. It's been since 2020 that I've been there, and seeing everyone's pictures help remind what I should be taking. Thanks again for your posts
  8. The long term models are showing 10" next Tuesday/ Wednesday. Lets hope they are right. Keep the pictures coming. It helps build excitement to get back in Qc
  9. We've often encountered groomers on the trail during the day during our trips in the Gaspe. Since we usually go early in January we always figured it was the clubs trying to get the best conditions as possible early in the season. We are heading up next week, so it's good to know that it is indeed an all season practice.
  10. That's great to hear. If all goes well next week(brides first trip to the mainland), I hope to head back with her the 1st week of April.
  11. It looks like you're having a great trip. It's great to see the conditions that are there now, as we are heading up for 3 days next week. It looks like snow in the forecast while we are there, so there will be no great landscape shots, but we are in fact going to snowmobile. Thanks for posting.
