  1. One good news(If I can say). Val d'Or SC will reopen that 9-10 km stretch which is the original route of TQ 63.
  2. It's not a rumor...it is the truth. No lodging at the Pavillon la vérendrye. Only gas and food.
  3. online only "For the purchase of your trail permit, you will be obligated to purchase it on-line, and this for all categories!"
  4. You are absolutly right....😃 But it's ok with me...we can still enjoying first class rooms at the central in Parent. My favorite place to stay...🍻
  5. it's doable but it's a long ride. Near 280 miles. We did Val d'Or-Maniwaki a few times. Also the restaurant at Le Domaine is closed since october 25th. Only gas(for now) will be available. Le Domaine will be completely rebuilt in the short term.
  6. Great news......when the loggers are nowhere to be found......TQ 63 in the RFRM is a blast.
  7. for your info.....posted by Val d'Or SC. No services
  8. Congratulations on the new ownership. That's what I heard last week that Steve sold his place. He was a great guy to chat with. We stop at your place 4-5 times during the season when riding locally and on our way to Parent. We are riding alot in the Upper Gatineau and Upper Laurentians. Best of luck!!
  9. I've been told there will be no lodging this coming winter........only gas and lunch. https://www.pourvoirielaverendrye.com/home
  10. I am looking at buying one as well. Does the 62 liters comes with linq base kit or you must buy them separetly ?
  11. Hotel Central in Parent....👍 and I miss the Tamarac in Clova.
  12. Parked in Roberval...leaving for chibougamau today. Trying to avoid as much as possible this storm. That's why we changed our itinary. No more st-raymond. We rode on hard trails for the past 4 days. Great conditions and gas consumption at its best.
  13. Les Ours Blancs SC are opening that closed section west of mt-laurier today. They are sending 2 groomers... vice-president said that on the weekly chronicle on the local radio.
  14. Le Domaine - Kitsisakik +- 115 miles using the bypass.
  15. give a call to restaurant le classic (819) 438-5557 and ask for Peter. He is the new owner and he owns the Pensive as well. He probably knows what's going on with the logging on Lépine Road. I haven't heard of anything regarding "le sentier des Draveurs". It was such an incredible trail to ride.
  16. right Jay......we stayed there a few times. nice place. you just confirmed what we've been told. thanks.
  17. We are booked next week february 13th. What is their cancellation policy for snowmobilers in case of bad weather or mechanical breakdown , etc? Is it true you must call 4 days in advance?. My buddy booked for us and he was telling me= 4 days ahead. really ??
  18. Closed for the season l've been told. Trail goes thru a rock pit near howard lake and they are working in the rock pit this winter. If l hear anything new l will post.
  19. Lots of sleds today in our neck of the woods. We are close to ontario. Great conditions for the most part. Fueling up in kiamika south of mont-laurier . wicked cold at 1:00 p.m.
  20. You are talking about the central in st-michel des saints. Parent has its hotel central as well.
  21. Mes sympathies les plus sincères...jean-guy.
  22. Jay....we went to fontbrune saturday for lunch....mid winter conditions in our area.
  23. We always stay at the continental...yes it has been renovated and some really nice rooms plus the owner is a snowmobiler. A little bit pain in the ass to get there for first timer but once you know how to get there, very easy and well signed. You must take the little street behind brp dealer(Beric) coming in from louvicourt.
  24. Alain, I phoned the club directly and yes they had problems with rights of way in La Macaza but it has been resolved and it is opened. They sent the groomer towards SMDS.
