  1. Going to fontbrune tomorrow for lunch via Reservoir Baskatong ....I will let you know how it is. We received over a foot of snow since the past 10 days. Dominique Coquel Gamache....she owns the Rabaska with Martin
  2. Apparently the problem has been settled in St-Simeon according to this article and there is a topic on the French forum. Drop this into your translate app. https://www.lecharlevoisien.com/2019/01/07/les-motoneigistes-pourront-faire-la-boucle-mais-sans-passer-par-saint-simeon/ in the meantime you can keep an eye on this http://www.motoneigefjordetcharlevoix.com/condition-des-pistes who said life is easy for snowmobile clubs in Québec.
  3. They built an ice bridge last year to cross trenche river.......samething this winter. Latuque SC is grooming relais 22 to Trenche river and Club Passe-Partout is grooming Roberval to Trenche river.

  5. thanks for the heads up Jack...we will be fine. Leaving La saguenéenne we will take TQ 93 in St-Ambroise then head westward.
  6. I heard on the news last night the government found another ferry. here's an article in french. beginning this week https://www.lapresse.ca/actualites/regional/201901/07/01-5210187-reprise-de-la-traverse-matane-baie-comeau-godbout.php
  7. Jack......do you know if the trail in red is still closed.
  8. gas available in Clova…...and it looks like gas will be available at Balbuzard sauvage. see the post on general forum. http://www.quebecrider.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5125-question-about-balbuzard/
  9. Senneterre SC posted on facebook this morning...They will open faillon towards clova after the holidays due to a bridge issue. I, sometimes, wonder if the grooming delay feature is a reliable thing. Lots of newsfeed on fb from several club and that help a lot. "Nous allons ouvrir le sentier Faillon vers Clova après les fêtes car nous avons un pont que le ministère a fermé aussitôt qu'il est refais on ouvre le sentier on vous tiens au courant."
  10. Cayamant to black rollway is business as usual. You are probably referring to trail 308 between jim's lake and lac cayamant area. You are right. It is shown in red on viaexplora and no trail on imotoneige. It will finally be open this year. Please get in touch with the clubs who maintain this trail which are les ours blancs and pingouins snowmobile club for gas availability.
  11. Abitibi......for now. The only region who got snow from this storm.
  12. Looks like they will be selling gas.......at a cheap cost as well!!
  13. Last time they posted on their fb page was october 29th. They were starting to take reservations 819-435-2133. Owners would be on site starting december 17th 2018.
  14. You can order the paper maps from the 13 regions over here.. You need to browse thru their own website. I order them every year from their respective touristic association. Put your pointer over explore Quebec and see the drop down menu. https://fcmq.qc.ca/en/explore-quebec/
  15. Réservoir Baskatong area last Saturday april 7th.
  16. Upper Gatineau Valley was hammered last week with over a foot of snow. More to come. Where was all that snow in December and January in our neck of the woods.
  17. Correct. We are not in the 70's, 80's or 90's anymore even though the fcmq still seems to be sometimes. Finding operators is one thing. Finding some who wants to groom on a saturday night even if they are getting paid is another thing. Who said running a snowmobile club is easy.
  18. yes........the old Joncas burned as well. I have great memories of the old version of Joncas back in the early 90's. The old one had a look of a logger camp (which it was) with all the rooms upstairs.
  19. Club passe-partout annual hot-dog party.
  20. you can go around the mitchinamecus reservoir or you can cross it. It is marked. We went by the area a few times this winter. You wil get to a jct where the dam is, to the left you go around and to the right(where the dam is) you go upon the reservoir. You gonna end up at the same place
