  1. Thanks for the info but, 63 is closed.
  2. Definitely looks good that way! I guess the problem is now.. Where do you stay on 63/386 between Mont Laurier and Val D'or? Any reviews on staying at the wildlife reserve, or at Laverenderye Outfitters?
  3. Are there any expectations as to when the construction will be complete? Is there a road or local trail I can take? I am trying to route from LeDomaine to Ville Marie. Thanks!
  4. Thanks Bill, I see the local Alma Club has updated they're conditions to 5 Stars. Must be a lot better now than the plowed fields that were reported earlier this month..
  5. How did l'etape, Alma, and Jonquiere make out with the storm? Lots of Fresh Snow??!
  6. Thanks. We're a ways out from our trip date now so hopefully the base can recover....
  7. Thank you. I couldn't get thier website to open.. I was starting to think they were closed like the seven other Hotels in Tadoussac. Now lets hope there's still a bunch of snow there after this thaw.
  8. Thanks for the reply. A few more km's, and an extra fuel stop never hurt anyone! Hopefully the trail base survives this pouring rain we are receiving here in Southern Ontario...
  9. Will the 5 Mile Closed section on 93 Re-open This Season? How are Trail Conditions into Alma heading in on 23? .....trying to plan our route for this year.....
  10. Thank you. Got the website up now... Looks good. Im just in the midst of planning/booking trip to Saguenay/ cote nord area now. We rode into the edge of these regions last year and thought they were really good, so we're coming back for more!
  11. Any recommendations where to stay in Tadoussac? Thank You!
  12. Thanks to all, The 500+ km's day from Roberval to Clova may be too big of a challenge for our group. We don't all ride together all day.... but we are on holidays! Thanks all for your help. See you on the trails!
  13. Leaving next Sunday the 26th for similar ride with the exception of Chibougamau. I have to tell you I'm very sceptical of the hard pack snow conditions as far as sliders and cooling? Hopefully there is some traffic this week to chew things up a little, and some fresh snow would be more than welcome. Where do you stay in Dominique de rosarie? How was ValD'or on the way back to your trucks? Thanks.
  14. Hi all, i'm kust in the process of planning a tour from the Temicamingue Region to Chibougamau, down to Roberval, Clova, and return. I am looking for suggestions on a couple things... 1) Fuel Stops. Amos to Chibougamau. 2) Fuel Stop Between Roberval & Clova. Staying North on Top 83 As well if you have any pointers / tips, or things to watch for your comments are all welcome! Let it Snow!
  15. feb 11 Left Maniwaki to Parent.Took 13 north.Crossed thru Devil's mountain area so we could avoid mont-laurier and ferme-neuve due to low snow conditions.trails were good.few rocks here and there but it is something we were expecting.North of ste-anne duc lac things were improving we took the local trail thru jb scott which is the former 13.trail was in good shape. From JB scott thru Lunic it is the former TQ 33.25 miles of twisted trails. From 100 lacs to Parent, you have another long stretch of twisted trail til you're back on the old 13 next to Bazin river.I must say I am quite disapointed with this new route. You can't cruise as it is so twisted.Next time we go to Parent we will be going via Clova. We stayed at the Central in the cabins behind the hotel.Fair price for what you get. Midrange.... Are there not two trails leading up to Parent? I found this local map that shows two different ways from JB Scott to Parent. http://www.woodrunnertrail.ca/PDF/oursblanc2010.pdf Thanks.
