  1. I seem to remember one person on these forums who thought at one time that Arctic Cat were good pets!!!
  2. Thanks Groomer. I also use "Sledmagazine.com" as they post the trail conditions for FCMQ. Not sure the French name foe this site. mike
  3. Thanks for the info Groomer. Hope to be going to RDL in two weeks. Hopefully by then all the dots will be connected and everything will be open. If not might have to go down your way. mike
  4. Congrats Towing. Stop in at the Universal RDL and I'll buy you the winner's beer. mike
  5. Haven't really been following RDL as the trails have been closed so far. My guess is probably ten inches this storm, and if they had a couple inch base already, then it won't be long. First trip hopefully around January 15th. Hope we meet again this winter. Take care and have a great week. mike
  6. Hi Jack and Sandi, Always enjoy reading your reports. Keep them coming. Mike
  7. How about the losers donate towards the winner. Since I had the earliest date picked and thus was the first loser, I donate to the winner one beer or wine served at the Universal in Riviere du Loup., only catch It must be redeemed during one of my vacations there. BTW, do all entrants in the contest get an Iceman sticker? mike
  8. Actually, I never realized they groom the ATV trails during the non snow season. Attorney Smclelan will be representing me in the law suit over the grooming contest. I picked Dec. 18th and grooming pics were posted. If the rest of you want to make this a class action suit, and we win, it will be free beer at Iceman's all winter!!! mike
  9. That's okay, I'll still buy you a beer next time you come thru Riviere du Loup. mike
  10. Sure looks like the groomer made its first pass! mike
  11. In just four short days the groomer will be going by Iceman's house. I love the smell of victory!!!!! This contest has separated the optimists (Dec. grooming) from the pessimists (Jan. grooming). mike
  12. Wow, very nice Steve. Wilderness lake or more urban?
  13. Obviously Tom, you know the darker side of our friend better than I.
  14. Wow Steve, what a view. Kayak's loaded, be right there. How did you get that place up so quick. Seems like at the winter gathering you said you were going to build it yourself and several months later its done. mike
  15. Thanks RR for the report on the 900. Pick mine up in another week. mike
  16. We could say the camp is on Smuggler's Cove, or, with the Russian women at camp, call the camp Smuggler's Snuggle. mike
  17. Andy, Steve and Dave, a very happy birthday to you. Steve, the camp done yet? Let me know, I'll use the smuggler's route to bring up some cases of vin and Russian women. mike
  18. Hard to believe all that snow and the rest of the country is brown and snowless.
  19. I just called the club and gave a sizeable donation/bribe to drive the groomer by your house on my date. That new Dodge pick up you are giving away is all but mine. Thanks in advance. Make sure a new 1200 Renegade is in the truck also. Iceman, your the best! mike
  20. As for the seaworthiness, when going sideways to the waves it is supposed to stay level instead of rolling, not sure by computer or design. But they are worried it might jerk left and right from the wave motions instead of rolling like a regular boat. Gotta love engineers and scientists, and how they figure this stuff out. mike
  21. The ship made it to its first stop about 50 miles away. Supposedly went awesome. It was carrying a couple hundred dignitaries. There were however, several people wounded when the plastic chairs they were sitting on gave way and collapsed. I ran into an 'official' in town late last night looking for 250 steel folding chairs to deliver to the ship. Helped set him up with contacts to various people with big halls and lots of chairs. Shows what can go wrong when you build something so hi tech. mike
