  1. Also I have no problem sending pics to individual people and sandy has had no trouble posting pics on Facebook. So I assume the issue is with QR
  2. Got a ton of pics but can't load. Sometimes one at a time or not at all. Anyway, not very interesting with no pics, but since I started..... we came in from new brunswick after spending 5 days riding down there. Took the 587 and then some locals into amqui. Pretty ride. Then dinner with groomer, the 1st pic I cou look d post. Next day to the ghost trees, lunch at mont joli then to matane. Next day, stayed in for storm as nd then day rode the next day. Then to st anne des monts to a place we like for the night. Then to grande vallee for the night. Then to murdockville for lunch and the night at gaspe. Next day day rode to and from perce to see the rock on a sunny day. Stayed in the next day for wind and snow. Then next day rode to bonoventure for the night. Yesterday rode through la cache to matane. Today took ferry to godbout. Sorry no pics. If I can get it to work later, I'll add. FYI, using same phone and internet provider that I've always used. Have tried hotels wifi. I am paid up through QR. I have contacted the administrator and was told they were working on it and should be ok now. That's why I started this post. Sorry Jeff and Sandy
  3. Could only post 1 pic, still trying. Never mind. Still having problems
  4. Thought I'd try to post some pics of conditions we found. I know some of you are planning trips.
  5. On the ferry now, headed to Godbout. They charged $20 per person, 2 sleds were free. Nice breakfast. Tried to post more pics, but gave up.
  6. Had dinner last night with everyones favorite groomer. As always, we enjoyed our visit with you, JG. Jeff and Sandy Sorry.....I can't seem to upload pic
  7. Snow master, We too saw a beaver on the trail for the first time this year. About 4 wks ago NE of lac st. Jean. He was dragging a small tree along the edge of the trail. He drug it along the trail until he came to his side path, he pulled it completely off the trail, then abandoned it, I suppose to get after we left. Couldn't get to my camera in time.
  8. In summary. We rode 3 days free, bought 2 one day passes for today. Even though it was a warm, sunny, free weekend, there was surprisingly little traffic. Today, monday, almost none. 95% of the trails were groomed and in great shape. We found signage to be very consistent and good. Access to Hotels, food and gas was very good. We planned short mileage days in anticipation of tight, bumpy trails, we were wrong. If you're into miles, you could get them here. We had a great time and will add it to our Gaspe loop in the future. Hope this is a help to someone, Jeff and Sandy
  9. Day 4, today, to Quality Inn in Campbellton, 258km. Mostly wide, fast, forest roads.
  10. Day 3 to Rodds at Miramichi, 260km. Another nice ride, mostly rail, some twistys
  11. Day 2 to Radison hotel, Fredrickton. 225k. Mostly rail trail again but very pretty following the st John river going through interesting towns
  12. I know this is a Quebec forum, so I wish not to offend, but thought I would post this as some Quebec riders may be interested. This could be a nice addition to a Gaspe loop. We do the Gaspe about every year, and about 10 or 15 years ago we jumped into NB for a couple of nights, Edmundston to Campbellton. It was pre-GPS, we were in fresh snow and signage was poor. It was a frustrating trip. Thought we should give it another try. It unfortunately fell on their free weekend, fri, sat, sun. But that's how our schedule worked. We're staged in Jonquiere, so we rode to Q city. then RDL. Day one to Best Western in Grand Falls 217k. Easy ride mostly rail trail.
  13. JG, so sorry to hear the news. You've worked so hard for so long and have spread happiness for so long with your work and pictures. But you have to take care of yourself. You will always be our friend. Jeff and Sandy JG.......wanted to tell you that we agree 100% with Quebec Bob's well written note. He summed it up very well. Your friends Jeff and Sandy

  15. Thought I would post some current info on the LSJ area to chibougamau trail. I've seen the topic before, thought this might help someone. Ran it today 1-28-20. 243km from last gas in La Dore to 1st gas in chiboug. Lumber camp approx 94 km north of last gas in LaDore. Camp has gas, I didn't need it so I can't report if it was cash only or credit only. But there was a line of sleds. The camp still has a heated room with tables to eat your picnic lunch at. No more vending machines or bathroom, that we could find. They did have a couple of microwaves. About 20km north of the camp is a short, well signed and groomed trail that leads to a nice roadside heated restroom building. Made my wife happy.🙂
  16. Happy Birthday JG, 1st pic (real time) from flatland Ohio. Next pics from west shore of Lake Huron then Georgian bay, last pic from Kincardine ont, on east shore of Huron. Pics for you groomer. Order may be messed up, remember it's the thought that counts. Have a good day!!! Jeff and Sandy
  17. No..... thank you groomer!! Hope you enjoy your summer...until next year Jeff & Sandy
  18. If today is your last run for the season, it looks like you had a beautiful day for it. Glad you didn't have to shovel. As usual, thanks for all the pics. Whats your prediction on when you can get to your cabin by quad?
  19. We are also upgrading to gen4 chassis next year. I have an old set of Katahdin saddlebags ( no longer available) and the skidoo 40L tunnel bag. That set up works good for me, saddlebags over shoulder, tunnel bag has nice handle. Her sled I'm considering changing. She also has the 40L tunnel bag. When her old skidoo saddlebags gave up the ghost we replaced them with the 45L combo bag. Nice bag but not convenient to attach or carry. I've heard good things about the 62L trunk, but not sure if it could replace her total 85L of present storage space. I was considering the 80L tunnel bag from skidoo. Has anyone seen or have 1st hand info on this bag. When ever we change bags I always go back to my canoeing roots and think how well a boundary ( waterproof rollup bag) would do. I've seen some guys going this route. Any input appreciated
  20. I never get tired of random trail pics. Thanks for posting.👍
  21. 1-2015 Renegade Adrenaline 900 ace. 1-2015 MXZ TNT 900 ace. SOLD
  22. Thanks for taking the time to share your adventure with us. You are a lucky group of friends to be able to enjoy, what for most of us would be the trip of a lifetime!
  23. It looks like just under 250km from gas in LaDore to gas by the highway before chibougamau. Probably doable with many sleds today, assuming your not in fresh snow. Although I know a topped up fuel tank makes me happy.
