It seems like there is always some hurdle.

The farmers, the ZEC’s they all want a piece of the pie. Can’t have a trail system without their land, but I don’t know what the long-term solution is.

As you know, snow comes early and stays later there, and very scenic area.

- Since 2016, the Parc régional des Grandes-Rivières du lac Saint-Jean has set up a unique off-road tourist circuit in Quebec: La Passerelle du 49%. The 236 km route is located in the public forest north of Lac Saint-Jean and required the construction of nine footbridges and the development of several kilometers of trails, some of which were existing forest roads. Local quad and snowmobile clubs are essential partners ;
- Integrating the territories of the MRCs of Domaine-du-Roy, Maria-Chapdelaine, Fjord-du-Saguenay and the Nord-du-Québec region, the footbridge over the Ashuapmushuan River opens up a territory several hundred kilometers long. The annual economic benefits associated with quad biking and snowmobiling in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean are estimated at $150 million.

Parc régional des Grandes-Rivières du lac Saint-Jean, an organization founded in 2014, maintains, enhances and promotes a network of ten ecotourism sectors characterized by the presence of major rivers flowing into Lac Saint-Jean. The organization also manages the La Passerelle du 49° quad and snowmobile trail and the Monasteriorum pilgrim trail.

The foot plus of heavy wet snow we received here in Southern Maine would have made a nice base, in January🙄🤪... 
I am very thankful that I installed a standby generator last year. Currently still close to 300,000 customers still without power state wide. Yesterday A friend asked me if I would be taking my machine out... My machine is going to be my Kubota Tractor with plow and front end loader. After the concrete snow on top soft gravel is dealt with, it's on to downed trees. 😀

Last Honey hole ....

Just got Back did all those Greens & Yellow!!!!! Trails were Outstanding!!!! Started the Season there After X- Mas Ended it the other day!!!! 3,500 Miles of Smiles on the new sled can’t wait till next Season!!!!👍

There are still a few for sure, no problem at all. 😉

Great to see! Pretty sure you don't get that much fluff up on top of the boards unless you're really "in it!"

BRP isn't the only Quebec business looking at dismal numbers.  There are lots of motels, restaurants, relais, and a hundred other businesses that have had a terrible winter.  The area around Quebec City had nothing to speak of for snow.  This was the first time in 25 years I haven't sledded in the Gaspe.  Trailered to the Quality Inn Matane then on the ferry was it.  Sledded 5 days in Baie Comeau, Forestville, Mont Valin area, first time ever to measure snow depth in inches instead of feet.  Pretty well every business we stopped at said thanks for coming, and appreciated our business, they all said numbers were terrible.
