smclelan
Doing a little tour in Quebec. We stay in Cabano a couple nights ago and went down to Pub de Lac for supper. They told us at the pub they will not be open this winter. Tonight we are the the Hotel Cie in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, the restaurant is closed due to staffing issues and at this point do not expect the restaurant to be open this winter. The Petro Canada restaurant across the road is also closed. When planning trips this coming winter a person should certainly ask about your favorite eateries. Covid may be almost behind us, but things are not back to normal yet. Trailblazer, zeusand, PLAYHARD and 10 others 3 6
vt_bluyamaha54
Unfortunately, a real sign of the times. Places can't get help plus combined with high food and commodity costs, owners need to either close or have a very strong, steady customer stream to survive. This is also certain to be occurring at our favorite clubhouses. 😢 Edited September 19, 2022 by vt_bluyamaha54 grammar NSHM, MrGutz and PLAYHARD 2
PLAYHARD
Steak Frites w/vin rouge @ Hôtel & cie in St Ann was a resto fave no doubt. Last season we recalculated based on hunger and struck GOLD with Julie & Patrick in MSP @ http://www.audelice.com/ ... https://www.facebook.com/boucanierssmokehouse/ Also did fine with Mario at http://motel-nanook.com/ in Cap Chat driving us to dinner @ https://www.facebook.com/pizzeria132 then made a totally decent breakfast. doo4adoo
I was on a bike ride last Wednesday and stopped at the Comfort Inn for the night. Place was full. Go figure. I as ked about Jan & Feb. Said there were already many booked dates. Don't delay for plans for sure this winter. She also said there was not likely any snowmobile special this season or at least the one proposed through the restaurant was not really a special.
