Started 1/28 from Drakkar, Reggie was a great host as always, nice trails up to Lac Edouard Presbyterre. 23/73 and 355 all excellent. Day 2 was 355 to 83&93 nesting in Normandin at Makadan b&b. Excellent place!

Pipeman, report.back on Marina Chibougamau. Last time we were there it was still JC Bou. I have often wondered how it is now under the new owners.  Thanks

Ha yep we ate lunch with the owners back in 2015 at JC Bou, wonderful couple. The new owners Sandra and Carl bought it from them and have really done a lot with it and she is a wonderful cook.  Highly recommended staying here.

No cook at Amosphere so supper was chicken wings or chicken fingers with fries. Waitress was also the “cook” poor girl ran around like a nut but did a great job, breakfast was normal and our dinner waitress was working again!

Last time we were at Amosphere it took over an hour to get our dinner meal on the table.  Too bad as we like everything else about Amosphere. Eskers hotel seems to have a good reputation for food and if the river is frozen its easy to get to by sled.

It's a shame that the "no work for me" attitude is overtaking the world in such a short period of time.

Wow! That's quite a change. We used to really enjoy spending a night there. Food was always good.
