snowrider3 Posted November 4, 2011 Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 I'm sure other folks will pipe in but I have found Sainte Marie can get beat up and rough in and out of town at the end of the day. Many towns are like this but it is nice to only hit it once at the end of the day. I think you would have a more enjoyable experience if you just park your truck and trailer in a secure area, along with some security pre-cautions, then saddle bag tour and stay at a different town each night. You can easily explore that region along with the eastern townships and up into the bay st-Laurent regions in a four day period. No need for super high mileage days to get a nice mix of trails and regions either, just nice comfortable miles in your comfort zone.
