iceman
The club is receiving alot of complaints from the prpoerty owners that allowed passage for the new trail. If it keeps up they will lose the trail. Speed Limit is 15KMPH and not being respected at all. Its a short section not too long but critical for passage. Some People are just Morons and it will probably cost us the trail there. Same with the fields with red sticks boils my blood to see all the shortcuts and people going wherever they want. Just Nonsense. A little respect for the owners please it will go a long way. Just thought you should all know what is going on there. gizz
That kind of stuff really sucks, no other way to put it. Here in PA, we deal with it when there's nothing but mud and some people think the registration gives them the right to tear up whatever the hell they want to. Jackstraw
When you oriiginally posted about the reroute, very fragile speed limit 15kph I thought that will never happen. Unfortunatly I was right, that's a tuff speed to get everyone to obey. Hope it works out.
iceman
Well they need to sit the cops there and instead of giving no helmet tickets to the guy on his own land give out speeding tickets. Word travels fast for sure if they do some enforcement. Certainly enough cops on sleds in QC city area that is a fact. Make em pay. Send a message. scorpionbowl
The cops are too busy vacationing around Gouin catching guys like us 30 miles from nowhere on a wide 2 mile flat...

snowdogs
As a director and the groomer mechanic of our local club here is a thought. Although it will take extra effort maybe they could put up stakes and ribbon to make a serpentine (like at the border) to slow them down. Not sure you have a direct contact with the club to suggest this and it definitely should not be necesssary but idiots will be idiots. We have a very fragile section of trail (only 1 mile) that without we would be isolated from another trail system but we do not groom that section so it gets moguls and slows people down. What a shame that we have people in our sport that just don't think. As the saying goes... "you can't fix stupid"
