Jackstraw Posted February 27, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 27, 2014 Well almost back to the trucks, left fort cologne this morning and think we rode the worst 70 miles in all the years in QC Frozen moguls, ice and tight twistie trails, great combination! Had lunch in Grace field and After that the conditions improved big time The 13 to 63 to the classic was stellar! After that trails where perfect little icy coming into mt Laurier at the Best Western. All hotels are full, don't no why only passed 4 sleds the whole day. Back to Shawinigan tomorrow. We have made it back to the truck in North Bay . 240 miles down 309 from Val Dor to 63 and back to ontario . Passed 3 groomers . Talked to one operator and he said they will be grooming for three to four more weeks. Jack you are making us Skidoo guys look bad. Yesterday Mont Laurier to shawinigan trails All great except for around st Michele with the usual high traffic. The 360 to Matawin was extra nice ! Even the river was smooth. Into shawinigan 273 miles . Ran into kmkm at the escapade last night. 61/2 days 1693 miles gotta love it.
