Florida Snowman
Mekoos was fully booked last Thursday night also. We couldn't get in so we tried the Comfort inn in Mont-Laurier. They were fully booked also! We got lucky with rooms at the Best Western Mont-Laurier. Don't know why Thursday was so busy everywhere. SkippyDoo
Yeah, we booked about a month in advance and pushed our trip to this week instead of mid Feb because we couldn't find much available. And then had to change some destinations around to pull it off. Seemed like everything in this area was booked solid from around 3 weeks out or so. I hope the trails aren't too crowded. Sometimes you can loop around and end-up here for a nice stay via R322 Baskatong Reservoir : http://www.pointedavid.ca/e_winter.html Edited March 11, 2014 by guyzoun
