Jim ....that look's just like the traffic in New Jersey!! Yesterday a guy decided to pop his head out onto the train tracks to see if train was coming and he got hit by the "express" (non stop) train...4 people in hospital, hit by body parts...what a mess....all roads closed in the area..........3 hours to get home! Jackstraw Posted March 27, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2014 Day 4 245 miles Left Murdochville on the 597 to the local to TQ5 to Perce for lunch. All groomed except the local. Plan was to go to new Richmond for the night but all rooms booked for hockey tournament, so in Bonadventure for the night. TQ 5 was absolutely mint the whole way. Starting snowing at Chandler but in Bonadventure Snow has ended and maybe 1" Off towards Groomer territory tomorrow At least by Chandler they say they groom till there's nothing left to groom! TQ 5 table top all the way except for drifts in the fields, wind blowing like crazy! Haven't been on the South shore in years, what a treat when there is a ton of snow. Met up with JG at the clubhouse. He has his work cut out for him tonight grooming! Lots of drift busting all day. Eric's Renagade has major leak in the heat exchanger, hoping to get it welded in the morning. Trailblazer wish we could have hooked up, looks like we are on opposite sides of the Gaspe. Bill hang in there glad to see your still out riding, the Gaspe in March is the place to be! My 12' 1200 flipped the 10,000 mile mark today It's a beautiful thing!! Jackstraw Posted March 28, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2014 Still in Amqui at 2:30 The entire factory weld in the front heat exchanger is leaking, the dealer dropped the suspension sent it to a place to be welded. They couldn't with out removing the exchanger. Now there going to use some kind of glue Not jb weld. Hope it holds. Shane & I are back at RDL did 200 today took local trails to the 85 a not talked about rail bed that was fast as hell. Going to do a loop South tomorrow if weather looks good.
