Florida Snowman
Welcome Bill. Gas up in Louvicourt & continue west to Val d'Or & stay at the Forestel. Much better choice. http://Www.forestel.ca Tom Edited October 26, 2015 by Florida Snowman
timbo
Great Advice. Louvicourt is a great spot to gas-up. Warm-up. Have a bowl of soup or some poutine. Huge parking lot for those who might wish to park a rig. There are oft-times many interesting folks in the restaurant. If you can endure another 45 minute ride into Vd'O, you would enjoy a finer dining and lodging experience. timbo
Florida Snowman
You can also hit the "Red Light" in Val d'Or to catch the Ballet. Always nice to take in some of the arts while on a snowmobile journey!

tender33
Owner Robert at Forestel goes completely out of His way to help snowmobiler's. He helped out us Yamaha rides get inline heaters and install them in our sleds last winter on one of those -35 nights. Without his help on Sunday we wouldn't have been able to finish our trip. Great place to stay with stuff to do at night.
Pipeman
I have stayed there and it was "ok" but I agree if you have the time ride on BUT if you are budget oriented then check in at the Louvicourt
viper2
Have stayed in Louvicourt 1 time it is basically a truckstop and there will be running trucks outside your room all night. Rooms are ok but if possible go to Val d' Or or Senneterre
