We have been pleased with Nh Vector's sled conversion, he took a 900 Sport Expedition changed the seat, rear bumper, installed pro 40 shocks and a 42 wide ras front arms to make a really fun sled. Great fuel mileage of between 15 and 20 mpg based on running conditions. We all love the articulating rear suspension on our big expeditions and this sport comes with that as well. We have not taken out the 900 enduros yet, one may go out today. RR

You took this trail?

Yes Markus. We rode 100 miles of that section yesterday, I always have wanted to do that section, and finally did this week. We went to the Denis Perron hydro project on the St margarette reservoir today, Good! Snow riding today, not much minimal snow lol

Mark, we are on the manicougan reservoir. At Relais Gabriel.

Had some issues today with all 3 of the 800 extremes. The driven clutch on all 3 are not shifting back properly at times. The boys will do some clutch work to see if they can straightened out.

Heading towards Port Cartier today

Did you start at Relais Gabriel or did you start from Fermont? Coming down fermont Port Cartier trail in March thought maybe i could pick your brain a little. Thanks

Started at the Relais, working both ends of that trail north and south, trail is 45 miles east of Gabriel. Can connect with you about that trip as we did that run in 2013 from lab city to Gabriel in 2013, the lower section from gab to port carter is very clean and open, north section much more challenging. I see a picture of a lake, but see you did not appear to ride out on it. Has it been cold enough up there to freeze things solid yet?

SM We did cross it after doing several depth checks, we had 6 " where we crossed, but up above the wind chop ice line there was only 3. That lake is at 2300 elevation. Lower large lakes have less Need the polar vortex to drop! RR

That would be great if we could connect on this. Looks like conditions are great up there! Enjoy

How many miles from relais to Fermont and also From relais to Port Cartier? Also how is the 45 Miles going east to trail?

Port Carter to Gab is 150 miles, 145 miles logging and reserve roads, one major road. wash out to portage around 30 miles out of Gab, and 5 miles of 4 lakes and portages, unless you ride 2 miles of 389. Great country up here if you come prepared. RR

Hard to believe all that snow and the rest of the country is brown and snowless.

Mike, we have ridden the 900 enduro the last two days, a very nice package. The air suspension is sweet, engine holds at 7000 rpm nicely, and tops out on a norma type trail at the low 80s on the dream meter.

We all are very impressed with this package from brp. Fuel mileage seemed better than the the 14 and 15 900s we had, our other 900s are only turning 6600 so it may just be in the clutching.

You will be very pleased with your sled

Best Regards RR
