iceman
Besides there is no snow, I am hearing this trail will be closed this year. Right of way issues. They have been trying to work it out but it seems now they say they will re-route next year hopefully. Really sucks losing that.

iceman
I heard today that the land owner who denied passage waited until the end of November to tell club he wanted $10,000 for damages done by sleds last year (going off marked trail) or no passing this year. He did this knowing they would have no time to re-route. They will re-route for next year with a new section of trail built this summer. iceman
According to Info on CMIQ There is a alternate trail 360 for this year with the river being not frozen to get all the way up to join trail to Mattawin by Richard's place Auberge Mekinac. They say from Grand Mere follow red stakes up river to Grand Piles after coming off river you are going through the camping grounds there. You cross the route 155 then you use the shared Trail. It is the winter VTT trail. Pay attention cause it says trail is not very big so if you meet a SXS coming at you there is not alot of room for you both. This will bring you to St Joseph where you can join with 360 or go to the 355. Have not done this yet but they say it's doable. Just passing it on.
