Went for 120 klm ride today, down the 43 to Fecteau's cabanne, groomed to perfection untill the short cut to Mulet then got a little choppy, ventured down to Montpelier and the snow got thin and brown and trail was getting rougher. U turn up to Mulet, take a run throught the Parc on 43 and back all good, did some exploring off trail back to the chalet. Enduro proved well! Trailblazer Posted April 2, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 2, 2016 Been a few weeks since last at the chalet, took a drive today, Hawksbury can see patches of snow in sled trail only, fields and wood all bare up to Montebello. Then going north start to see patches in the woods, further north to Chenneville fields started to fill up but sled trails kaput as JG says. In the mountains in Duhamel lots left in the woods and forest roads for off trailing but sled trails is off'n on with snow, too much sun I guess. Small lakes'n ponds still frozen, rivers are thawed and swollen, my lake is still frozen in the larger sections with the exception of bays and shorelines are clear water. Nice'n flat if your game for a run across the lake......just don't stop. Lol. Little snow storm waiting for me when arriving to town.
