However in that area snow levels can change quickly with elevation. There could be snow in the hills and one dump would open trails into town. I was thinking exactly like you about snow in the hills. Just thought it was interesting view and gave a peek at what is in town snow wise. Just thought it was interesting view and gave a peek at what is in town snow wise. I pulled out of the Brunante motel there one morning with 6" of fresh snow in the parking lot. I told the two guys wth me we were going to see some fresh powder. By the time e we got to Mont Saint Pierre we had broke trail through places with over 40" of fresh powder!!! groomer Posted December 27, 2015 Report Share Posted December 27, 2015 wooWWW sad !!! maybe i should ask my nephew in matane ???? back in the early 00 when i was driving tons of miles on logging road ,i noticed once at the 80 km going toward la cache at the 120 km ...a huge difference of snow !!! pics...hog's back 12 miles north of la cache pic 2 ...entrance trail 595 near logging camp pic 3..bridge around the 98 km pic 4 at the 74 km on top of hills.. pics taken april 12 th ..06 last tuesday ,about 2 miles before going down last hill for st fidele cb ...about 16-18'' of snow on a picnic table !! i can t remember if its last week or 2 weeks ago..friend told me about 8 '' at the faribault camp !!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
