Saguenay Bill
Today we rode on fresh groomed trails with about 2" of fresh powder to Onatchiway for lunch. Then came back on other fresh groomed trails with fresh powder. Here is the guy responsible for all that freshly groomed trails.

Saguenay Bill
This past Wed there was not a fishing shack on the ice in La Baie, today there are 100's. What a sight to see. Forgot camera.
Saguenay Bill
Hi Bill. We have reservations for this Wed night thru Fri night at the Delta. We are snowmobiling up from Roquemont. See you Wednesday. Jack & Sandi Was told trails first 10 miles out of St Raymond are not too good. With the new Relais at Mont Apica 23 is very busy and gets trashed quickly. I've been on it at 11 AM, it was nice and by 12:30 it was trashed. This was on a Thursday. Some days the line for food there is out the door. revct1
Thanks Bill. I had read the same thing that the first 10 miles or so from Roquemont it is rough but once you start climbing up into the park it gets much better. We might eat at L'Etape. We'll see how we are doing. Jack & Sandi

Saguenay Bill
Sig, John, Ethan and I rode 135 miles today. Trails were from good to not so good, 367 for 10 miles. Have not gotten any rain, but temps were 38F. Suppose to get 3 to 6" tonight/tomorrow morning and then heavy snow Wed, per AccuWeather. viper2
Good morning, does anyone have a recent report from St felician to Chibougamo. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thank you RR. Road Runner, did that run up to Chibougamau Tuesday and right back down on Wednesday. Trail was in real nice shape except for some wippets here and there. You still can gas at the sawmill but only vending machine lunch, and as someone reported earlier in the year Barrier Nord is closed this year. Nobody is riding up that way, we rode from LaDore to Chibougamau without passing one sled and same thing coming back except for 1 pair that came into the sawmill while we were there. There are 3 bad holes between the sawmill and where Barrier Nord is 2 on the east side of the road and the last one on the west side. Coming up from the sawmill about 20-22 miles up not long after you cross to the east side of the highway you come over a hump and the first hole is at the bottom. The next one is about 9 miles further and is the worst one. We had no ribbon but we put a stick on either side right in the middle of the trail with a red bandana on it. The last one is on the other side again about 10 more miles up.

momojohnny
Dolbeau - Mistassini - Girardville St Felician La Dore section TQ 93 was excellent 2 weeks ago, if that helps Y'all. 50 - 70 Husky dogs @ a sled dog "camp" in St Edmonds Les Plaines on that orange trail.
