I haven't posted like this before, but reading Jacks post helped us as we were planning. This being such an odd weather year, current conditions may help someone else.

Don't expect Jack and Sandi quality reports, remember this is Jeff and Sandy. Some of this info hasn't changed from other reports but this is what we saw today.

We left Bernieres on the 75 to the 5 to the 547 and then onto the 35,(the poog). Until we hit the 35, trails were a bit bumpy in spots with some snirt showing in places, but they were all passable. After trailering about 900 miles we were just happy to be on some snow. The rivers that are normally frozen were.

We gassed up and had some soup in Notre-Dame-Du-Rosaire. The 35 improved steadily all along in until where we left it at the 526 jct. By the way there is now a new bridge on the 35. It is in that short section that they didn't groom last year, so now there is no disruption in the grooming.

The 526,5,and 85 were all groomed and good today, this area seems to have more snow. Today the temps were around 26 to 36f,but we saw no rain. The local RDL trails all seem good.

Tomorrow I will post on the bas- saint-laurent site.
